A few months ago my wife brought her 2015 Buick Enclave in and asked to have the air bag replaced due to a recall from Buick. They did not have the part and told her they would call her back when it came in. A few weeks later I took the call and brought the car in to have the air bag replaced.
After waiting about 45 minutes I was called from the waiting room and told that they put the part in another car and I would have to reschedule. I did this and they promised to call me when the part came in, also they gave me a business card with a free oil change for my trouble.
It's now been a few months and I called back in requesting an update on the air bag and when they might get it in. Josh in Service told me I would need to talk to parts and transferred me. I got a voice recording of Brandon (I believe that was his name) and left a message requesting an update and gave them my cell number.
At this point in time I would neither recommend purchasing a vehicle from this location (due to a possible need of maintenance) and I could not condone suggesting service that your vehicle may be in need of.
We have been told that the air bag replacement is quite serious and if my wife were to be in an accident that metal particles may be blasted into her face with the airbag. Due to this I would have hoped that the Ware Dealership would have put a immediacy to our request. It has now been a few months and we have been chasing the service center at Ware for the air bag replacement.
I would have put 0 stars, but this is not an option. We have had 0% assistance from the dealership on this serious matter. I will update this post if anything does change in the situation. In the meantime I will make the more considerable drive to a responsive dealership that may not be close, but does care about its customers.

I have a 2014 Chevy Equinox. Would not start on Christmas Day. Next day (Thursday) I had it towed to Ware Chevrolet. The service agent (Josh) helped me out. Kudos goes to Josh as he is a very good service agent. Anyway, they told me that they would diagnose it and call me when it was done. I got the call late Friday afternoon. Their diagnosis was it needed new timing chains. I asked how much and they said $4800. Ouch. They said 22 hrs labor @ $140 and $2000 for parts. I was stuck so I said okay. Josh told me that he would have to order parts and probably they would not be in till Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning. On Sunday I googled how much to do the timing chains on my car. Google said it takes 11 hrs and about $600 in parts. A friend recommended a local mechanic to me and I contacted him that day. He said that Google was right and he would do it for $1700. First thing Monday morning (8:30) I called Josh to have it put back together after diagnosing it and I will have it towed to my mechanic. He said okay and would call me when it was ready to be towed. He called and said that it was ready and I had to pay $140 diagnostic fee plus $650 restocking fee. What!!! $140 diagnostic fee was okay but $650 restocking fee was absurd. He apologized but said that was company policy. I was stuck again. He helped reduce the price by taking off useless parts that were already in stock. Parts like spark plugs (which I didn’t need) and other non necessities. Still had to pay $750 which included the diagnostic fee. My mechanic fixed my car for $1700. By the way when my mechanic started to work on my car, he noticed that some of the bolts that they took off were missing and some were broken. He even found some wire connections cut and some not even plugged in. Shame on you Ware Chevrolet. I am 70 years old and maybe they take advantage of the elderly. Anyway I will never go there again and I will tell everybody (family and friends) how money hungry they are. Shame on you!!

Preston, James, and the entire team took care of my parents as if they were family while buying their new Equinox. Price, trade value, and especially financing were top notch! The service department has always been outstanding with us as well. We wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else!

We recently took our 2020 Chevrolet Traverse to Ware Chevrolet because we were getting a water leak near the top of the windshield/ and/or the front of the sunroof. I had purchased an extended warranty when I purchased the vehicle from Jacky Jones GM SuperStore in Murphy, NC.
The service writer was able to furnish us with a loaner car while they checked the car for the leak. They kept the vehicle for 5 days and finally said that it was leaking around the sunroof seal and that they had checked the drain tubes and they were not stopped up. They told us that the seal could not be bought by itself and could only be gotten with the sunroof glass and the cost would be $1,400. They went on to say that the extended warranty would not cover the repair and we would have to pay out of pocket.
I was shocked!
We picked up the vehicle and paid the $140 diagnostic fee. I then took the vehicle to my local body shop to see if they had any way to get the sunroof seal without buying the entire glass & seal.
After looking at the seal, they informed me that the seal looked perfectly fine to them and they said that in all their years they had NEVER seen a sunroof seal fail. It is almost always the drain tubes that allow any water to drain out. They opened the sunroof and found that one of the two drain tubes was partially stopped up and when we would get a big heavy rain, the partially stopped up drain tube could not keep up with water coming in and we would get the overflow of water into the vehicle. A 10 minute fix unstopped the drain tube and we are back in business!
A knowledgeable, competent technician should have been able to diagnose this problem and fix the issue quickly.
As a former General Motors dealer, I am very disappointed that Ware Chevrolet could not find the easy fix rather than trying to install a new sunroof glass and seal at a cost of $1,400 and it would not have solved the problem!

Overall the my experience here was nice. They were not pushy and they gave me all the time that I needed. They were more than willing to help me in any way that they could. I left with a nice truck at a good deal. I would not hesitate to go back in the future.

Super great experience...the man at the door that I went in was very helpful and nice and walked me to tire and service writer. Shawn was sooo helpful..he found me the exact tires I wanted for a super great pricec with rebates and more. This was so refreshing because both the ford dealership and Chevy dealership experiences in Blue Ridge I had in the past were so horrible I was reluctant to use local dealer.

Best experience I had with trying to buy a car. I have been looking around for a few months. I knew what I wanted. I was contacted by Jamie and he did not try and screw me over or charge me more than necessary. I asked him for an out the door price and that was it and he gave it to me. Anytime I had questions. He was very up front. The whole process was very easy. Also their processor was very nice. If I needed to buy another vehicle I would buy it from them.
