From 6/26/2024 through 7/25/24, we spent roughly $7,000 for a variety of HAAS board repairs. I had no complaints at the time other than their lack of transparency on what they repair. They will never disclose what part of the board was at fault.

Upon receiving my last order, a vector drive, I noticed the standoffs for the board broke free from the rest of the unit because it was improperly packed. I called them and Erick, their technician at the time, informed me it was under warranty and to send it back. I spoke further with him about getting some other boards repaired when he suggested I send all of my boards so he could simulate my machine on their very own VF3-BAPC.

I agreed and sent every board in my machine's cabinet as well as the Z motor.

He has since left the company which is where issues emerged.
Some time later, I get a call from W.W.I.S. explaining that Erick is no longer with them. They proceed with a line of questioning on why I sent all of my boards, including the ones they worked on before, and I explained that I wanted them to simulate my machine. They seemingly had no idea what this even meant and started explaining how they have a working VF3-BAPC on site. I told them that I didn't care if /they/ had a working machine, I want to get /my/ machine working.

They called us again and refused to repair our vector drive, stating that it wasn't the same one. They cited how their was no sticker for their previous repair on it.

Interestingly enough, it was the very same Vector drive, except I didn't send the cover which has no boards or mounts for them, the things I actually need repaired. However, unlike /EVERY/ other board they have repaired, they didn't put the repair stickers on the two boards inside the vector drive, no, they put one tiny one in the back corner of the cover.

They proceeded to refuse our business and 'returned' our boards.
They did not take any of the necessary precautions in packing because they wanted to be petty resulting in every board being damaged.

Erick was the only good thing at this company.

This is the best company I have ever done business with. I have a small haas cnc machine that had a bad computer board and I contacted Worldwide and Andrew Church helped me with the process of getting them my part and repaired it and sent it back super fast, they have great customer service, great communication if I had questions they responded quickly. Eric Knapp was extremely helpful and very diligent in helping Mason Dixon Machining get a refurbished I/O board in short order when it was found that the one we sent was not repairable. Since this machine had done over 3 million tool changes in 20 plus years we thought we may have to purchase something new but Eric and the staff at Worldwide saved us tens of thousands of dollars. The Friendly staff was very professional, timely, and they are really good at what they do.
I have used them twice now to repair discontinued industrial electronics and we saved about 30,000 dollars because we did not need to upgrade/retrofit the machinery. Also greatly reducing downtime.
The staff answers the phone when I call and are willing and capable to answer any questions.

Recently I needed some boards repaired on a VF-3 Mill that Haas no longer repaired neither supported. W.I.S. was very helpful with not only the repair but assistance on the phone with both the technician and even with the owner of the company. We are a steel fabrication shop in Texas and we have several CNC machines. One machine, a drill line, utilized 3 Baldor servo drives which we had been told by both the machine manufacturer, and Baldor themselves, that the drives were obsolete, unrepairable and that we were going to have to upgrade to a different brand. This was going to be a $15,000 purchase that we just didn't have to money to do and so we were without our drilling capability for literally 2 years and were doing our holes manually with mag drills.
We found Worldwide on the internet and called them up. They told us they could give us a free estimate and said they felt confident that they could repair the units. They indeed repaired 3 of the 4 drives we sent them at a FRACTION of the cost compared to the upgrade that we had been told was the only option we had! They ended up locating a very similar drive that they could make work for the 4th unit; they just had to install the correct parameters in it. Everything else was basically the same.
Our 2 machines are back up and running the way they were and we are SUPER pleased with the customer service, turn around time and amount of money that we had to spend. Worldwide really came through for us and we are now spending less money on labor and have increased our production rate because of them. I strongly recommend them to anyone with electronic repair issues.

I have been using WIS since they were IES, John and everyone are exceptional. I have had them rebuild the controllers, boards, and drives for all the Kone elevators we own. They have also rebuilt the electric motors on doors and fire control systems. They are reasonable, fast, and always fix things to better than original.
