I recently visited the shop and purchased a $20 chicken pot pie, for that price, I expected perfection. It took 90 minutes to cook from frozen. I had assumed it would be fabulous and homemade, but I was very disappointed with the result. The pie didn’t have any homemade flavor; the chicken tasted as if it came from a can, not chunky like at Safeway, and the vegetables were so uniformly cut that they seemed likely to have come from a bag. Additionally, the pastry was excessively thick, with a quarter-inch layer on top, and the bottom crust was so thick it was undercooked, and had more crust to filling. While I enjoy visiting the shop, I cannot recommend the chicken pot pie. Disappointed!

Everyone had a smile! Great service! I bought a couple thick ribeyes that had beautiful marbling! Thew em on the grill, high heat, flip flop few minutes on each side and they are AMAZING!! Grade A+++++! I also bought some fresh made burger patties with bacon IN THE PATTIES!! What a place!! Go there!!

Very tasty homemade sausages and pot pies along side a selection of high quality meats. I highly recommend the Potsticker sausage and the Pork and Pasilla Pepper pot pie. Their pre-marinated steaks are solid as well. Also very friendly staff.

Watching the way these pretentious a holes treat customers that pay $40/lbs for an average steak. Have been going out of my way for years to buy from them and this was my last visit.

Poor quality. Lousy customer service. Buy your meats at Raley's or Whole Foods in Reno. Bought two thick Ribeye steaks for $172; one was okay and the other was awful and tough. When I complained the reaction was "we make a ton of money and do not need your business"! Definitely not worth the money.
