If you need a iron gate, or any iron works, Professional Iron Works is the place to call. They give free estimates and get the job done right with quality products, installers and customer service. Isaiah and his team are truly amazing. They will draw and design your gate to your requests.

I had my gate installed over 20 years ago and it is in top notch shape. It will last forever. Recently I had to replace the 20 year-old keypad. I called and they came out the net day! A true family business.

You do not even have to be home during installation. They are licensed and insured. I see so many beautiful iron gates in Willow Glen and the Rose Garden area that were made at Professional Iron works.

We called various places and found their pricing to be most competitive. The design process was fast and the final product looked just as described. Even after the install the customer service has been great! The team has been super responsive and accommodating for any adjustments needed as the gate settled and went through various weather conditions.

It's been about a month since Isaiah and his team installed our new driveway gate, everything is still working just as it had on day 1 and we are definitely satisfied with the end result! Isaiah was very patient and did not feel pushy while my wife and I were reaching out to various builders to obtain quotes. His quote was the most competitive in the area and once we were ready to move forward, things moved amazingly quickly! It felt like the whole process took less than a week. Isaiah ensured to provide multiple sets of samples so that we could feel confident about the stain/finish of the wood we were going with and installation only took two separate visits. He installed a LiftMaster motor which has been very quiet and we are able to control the motor via the MyQ app as well. I was most impressed with Isaiah presentation and tucking of all the wires, everything looks very clean. I have no doubts Isaiah would be responsive if any other future issues were to arise. Definitely would not hesitate to reach out to him and his team again!

When we (Peter and Marilyn) first moved into our home in Santa Clara 16 years ago, we asked “Professional Iron Works” to build and install a black iron front gate and a side gate for us. After this many years and 2 coats of black paint, the gate still looks attractive and good, except for one problem that arose with the alignment that prevented the gate from staying locked. Luckily when we called Professional Iron Works, the current owner, the sons of the original owner who had the gate installed for us, came the next day and fixed the problem at no extra charge! The sons were as gracious and professional as their father! We give them 5 stars and would highly recommend them.

After reading the mixed reviews about this place, I thought I could give this gate company a try since the overall ratings still seemed good and their pictures showed the similar gate styles that we would like to have. Late April, I reached out to the company and got a response quite quickly. Isaiah was late for the onsite appointment, but I was understanding of the situation and didn't mind it. He seemed friendly and even drew a quick draft of what the gates would look like based on my preference. I even asked him to help me with a wood fence staining job that he said he could take on and would give me a final design of the gates and quote for the gates and the staining job in a week. However, after several weeks, I didn't hear from him. I followed up with him via text and email, a couple of times, he responded to me that he would provide those to me in a week. However, he never fulfilled his promise and now is already mid-June, I still don't have a final design of the gates and the quote to make a decision. I've done my own wood fence staining eventually. The experience was very disappointing - without follow-through and timely follow-ups, how could you call yourself "Professional" Iron Works? If you can't do the job, be honest and forthcoming to let us know, instead of making constant empty promises all along! Will not recommend this company if you want to work with a reliable team and not want to wait around for weeks.

While Isaiah and his team were quick to design, manufacture and install our driveway gate, I'm editing our review because we are EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with the after-sales service from this company. 1 month after installing the gate, the wood panels began bending. We called Isaiah and he said someone was going to come check it out. It took about 2 weeks for them to come check it out. They confirmed they would have to remove the gate and replace the wood panels. Several times they said they would come to remove the gate, but never showed up, and never called to reschedule either. They finally came on Thursday (Feb 7) to remove the gate and promised to reinstall it on Saturday, but never showed up (didn't call either). We called from another phone (because they screen our calls), and promised to be here today, Sunday Feb 10 at 10am. They finally came at 1pm. THE GATE HAS BEEN FIXED, but I'm not sure we'd use them again.

Came out to check out my gate, said he would get back to me over the weekend. He did not.

Dodged my emails, calls, and texts. Except for when I called his wife, and she basically lied to me saying he would call me back asap. He never did.

She said this more then once.

Never heard from him again.

I do not recommend this business. There are far better, more courteous gate companies out there. If I could get zero stars I would.
