I recently had the pleasure of working at FilmStudioLA in Pico Rivera, and I can confidently say it's a top-notch filming location. The studio is spacious, well-equipped, and offers a versatile range of settings perfect for various production needs.

A special mention goes to Vince, the stage manager, whose professionalism and attention to detail made our shoot run smoothly. He was incredibly accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed and providing valuable support throughout our time there.

This location has very well decorated sets and friendly staff like Vince and a couple of other people whose names I didn’t get. The green room has a functioning microwave and refrigerator, which is great if you need to heat or store food. It also has a makeup and wardrobe room with vanity mirrors. There are plenty of props to use, and they allow us to repurpose them on different sets (as long as we return them to their original place). There’s plenty of parking as well -which is a huge plus, because there are a good amount of studios that don’t provide parking.

Do I recommend this place? And would I shoot here again?

We recently used this film studio for our production, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. The studio space is incredibly versatile and suited all our needs perfectly. Even though we opted not to purchase the lighting package, our G&E team found it easy to work around, which speaks to the quality and flexibility of the space.

A special shoutout goes to Vince, our site representative. Vince was fantastic to work with—always accessible and accommodating. During our initial walkarounds, he explained everything clearly and ensured I had the opportunity to ask any questions. Throughout our time there, he was responsive, knowledgeable, and demonstrated an impressive work ethic. It was genuinely a pleasure working with him, and I appreciate that the studio has someone like Vince on their team.

Hands down one of the best productions experiences I’ve had. Not only are the sets themselves incredible, but they have the option to come pre-lit, which helps out a ton. Vincent — the staffer on hand — was helpful/knowledgeable/communicative, and went above and beyond to make our shoot run as smoothly as possible. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to film. Highly recommend!
