ZETAYE

I came to TEG as a very new designer and launched my first collection, ZETAYE, in 2024. I know that the strength of my collection is in large part due to the fact that I began this journey with a company with such high standards of quality, workmanship and expertise. Everyone at TEG was a pleasure to work with. Alicia was so good at seeing my vision and helping me choose the perfect fabrics. Walt, an unbelievably talented pattern maker, was able to bring my sketches to life with precision and attention to detail. And my samples were sewn so beautifully. They worked with me to perfect each style and made the process so enjoyable. Everywhere I took my patterns and samples, their work was noticed and complimented. They exceeded my expectations and I I could not recommend them more!

Before I reached out the TEG I had been on the hunt for a pattern-maker for about a year. I was hesitant at first because their prices were higher that others I had worked with. I will say that they are worth the price and you get what you pay for. The final samples I received from them were superior to any other samples I have received before. Gery was in charge of my project and he did an incredible job executing my vision and finding creative and functional solutions to challenges that came up when constructing my garments. Angelo was super helpful in checking in and providing updates as well. The team had excellent communication! The saying "you get what you paid for" holds true. Excellent samples, incredible communication, craftsmanship and attention to detail, kind and intentional. 10/10 recommend

After weeks of tirelessly trying to find a company that could not only bring my one of a kind patented child proof onesies to life but also do the production was such a blessing! I had contacted so many other company’s that had “offices” in the USA only to find out that their business is really overseas 😓! I was starting to loose hope until I came across TEG which does product development and production here in the USA!

For me, I’m not a fashion designer and I’ve never owned a business until now. I’m a mom of two who came up with a solution for a huge problem that many parents face nightly (their kids taking off their pajamas at night… followed my their diapers leaving parents with a huge mess to clean up).

Considering I knew nothing about the fashion world (in terms of “making clothing”) I was so nervous to start on this new adventure… until I found TEG! I’m so beyond grateful for The AMAZING team assigned to work with me on this project (Alicia, Angelo, Walt, Noah, Brian, Jennifer) they all have made this process so easy and they all have guided me and taught me so much! Every one of them is always there to answer questions, give advice or feed back, help me to see what works best and guide me through every step!

I do have to give a special shout out to Alicia Hall who I’ve worked with on all my sourcing, not only has she been there every step of the way she went above and beyond in helping me with all the things a novice like myself might not know (for example I thought hang tags were care labels lol) I loved working with Alicia so much bc she truly explained and guided me on every step in the construction of my onesie so much so that when I found out that once I went into production her part of the process was done, so I asked if I could pay extra to keep her onboard through production and I’m so glad I did bc she still is playing a big roll in the final product!

I’m now in the production phase of my onesies and have loved working with TEG so much that I’m going for round 2 on another concept using my patented “zipper with locking mechanism” I can not wait for what’s in store for my fist company (Sandra Jane) and the addition to my line “The lockie”

Our experience with TEG has been wonderful. Everyone has strong communication skills, are detailed, and have taken great care of us throughout our project. Eden was lovely and so responsive, providing all the information we needed to make our decision to work together. Alicia, our designer and who sourced our fabrics, and Gery our pattern maker are exceptional. They exceeded our expectations and I look forward to every meeting. We work together very well and couldn't be happier with our experience and samples. We constantly talk about how much we enjoy working with them and seeing our vision come to life. I have worked with TEG for my last couple of projects and have had a great experience. They make the process seamless weather you are doing development, production, or both. I highly recommend working with their pattern maker Gery, who is very experienced and helpful throughout the entire process.

I chose TEG to manufacturer my first swimwear collection, and I would advise anyone to choose elsewhere if you value your money and care about the quality of your product. TEG is a one-stop shop so they were good for convenience. I had them produce a string bikini, an insanely simple design. My production manager frequently asked me questions that made me wonder what I was even paying them for. They tried to charge me for adding heat transfer labels, something I was told was included. No one who works there really seems excited about their job, which sucks when you’re beyond excited about starting a clothing line. They won’t even answer questions if it doesn’t fit within your contract. The only person that was actually positive was Brian, and that’s why he’s good at his job: to make you think they give a shit about your brand. After production when reviewing my products, the quality of the work was insanely lazy and I had many, many pieces with flaws. I brought it to their attention and they offered to fix them but I didn’t have the time or materials to do so. They never once reached out after production for any input or anything. The old director of operations Jeff used to do monthly calls to check in which was really nice, and after he left and was replaced the calls stopped. This business can sustain itself off of producing a brand’s first line and then never getting return customers because of their lack of quality and care, and they know that. There are so many other options in LA to start your brand, so please take my advice and take your hard earned money and vision for your brand to a manufacturer that cares!
