The Market at Edgewood is one of my favorite grocery stores. They carry a large variety of farmers market quality fresh produce, have their own excellent butcher as well as bakery. Their deli counter has standard meats but also choices in vegan meat substitutes. I stop by to grab dinner driving home late night as they are conveniently at the intersection of 101 and Embarcadero and now open 24/7.
The quality of the meats and vegetables are excellent. This year I ordered the Thanksgiving meal from the Market (turkey with vegetables, mashed potato, stuffing, gravy, cranberry relish and apple pie)—and was not disappointed. Everything was well flavored and delicious. They cooked up a Mary’s turkey to oerfection—and allowed me to enjoy my time with family.

The selection is outstanding and filled with delightful treasures for gifting, eating, drinking, cooking! This review is for the bakery department at the market. We needed a custom cake for our daughter’s birthday and they hit it out of the park. Love the sandwiches at the deli! Walkable from my house, glad this opened up!

edited two years later to add that they made me cupcakes for a Denver-themed going away party! I asked for "peaked cupcakes with white frosting that I can make look like the Rocky Mountains." They put little wafers on the cupcakes to help make the peak, which was a nice touch since you're not biting into 100% frosting when you eat the peak. As you can see from the photos, me and my buddies added our own cupcake toppers and put them on a tiered wooden mountain, and thus Cupcake Mountain was born! (photos credit: Pro Bono Photos)
