I’m extremely disappointed with my recent visit. An associate followed my boyfriend and me around as if we were criminals, creating an incredibly uncomfortable situation. This behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

The store was well stocked with many many different items. The copy center in the back of the store is very convenient for copies, sending and receiving faxes and being items printed from your phone. Sometimes it is difficult to find staff on the floor for help- just go to the cashier and they will get you someone.

I needed to drop off a Fed Ex package that already had postage applied and a mailing label. All I needed was an associate to scan the label and hand me a confirmation slip.
The associate at the print shop was very involved in helping two customers already, I could tell from her body language and the look of intense concentration on her face that whatever it was she was involved in was certainly a very taxing project.
After what I judged to be an inordinate amount of wait time I approached another associate who was wondering the aisles and, IDK, looking at things on the shelves. I asked him if he could help me just scan in a package and hand me a slip. I was informed that the associate working at the counter would help me as soon as she was done.
I then asked if he could do it and he said he couldn't as he was already working on something. I then asked if I could speak to a manager he informed me that he was "Ricky" the manager. after some brief discussion wherein I asked if he could do it, he reluctantly did provided assistance after correcting me that I wasn't asking for help I was asking to cut the line, I was the only one in line.
At last, Ricky scanned the barcode on the box and pressed two buttons on the computer keyboard, walked the 10 feet to the printer to hand me my printed confirmation. He did wish me a good day, but I'm not sure how much he actually meant it.
I do hope my package leaves the store safely without delay.
I hope the store manager or district supervisor, or someone above lets Ricky know proper customer service and takes note.

If the bathroom has a bathroom cleaning log showing its been 10 months since being cleaned and some of the toilet seats have cracks and dirt n unhygienic material embedded in them, and the toilet seats shifts if you sit on it and you have a roach floating in a toilet.... it's time to strongly evaluate your hygiene practices and to replace all of the toilet seats...

I'm not sure where OfficeMax does their training or the format that they use but more people need to copy them. Every time I walk in the store for whatever reason I have a good experience. And I've been going in the store for 6 or 7 years so I know the same employees are not there but it's always the same experience so they're doing something right. So thank you very much. I will continue to use your store.
