WOW these are good tacos. I know I haven't tried them all, but these are the best tacos in LA. The fresh tortillas, the perfectly seasoned meats, and the bright colorful sauces can't be beat

Legit street tacos in East LA. The sidewalk has a full assembly line with al pastor on a trompo, chorizo, carne asada and costillas on the grill, big molcajete bowls full of salsa, masa being pressed and roasted into fresh tortillas. Anytime we’re down south, we stop by to get some tacos and costillas. The line can get pretty long sometimes but it’s a fun vibe with the music blaring from a portable speaker and the fire and smoke swirling around the meats.

Great tacos and patatos. The ribs are really good, but get the plate, not the taco. They are on the street and open till 1 every day. Drove up after 12 am on a Sunday night, and they were still working. Only setbacks are nowhere to sit and pricey 3 dollar tacos 15 dollar patatos. 2 can sodas.

I am a taco lover and can definitely say these are the best tacos I’ve eaten, I felt like I was in Mexico, the music, the street tacos and how friendly they were. If you’re ever in LA you HAVE TO try this place

Quick simple street tacos. The ribs were a bit tough, I would pass on them. The salsas were also over salted and not very flavorful. With an over abundance of taco spots in LA you are not missing out on much here.

GET THE CABEZA!! Best cabeza taco I’ve ever had. Wish I ordered 10 more. I liked the ribs as well. Al pastor was good, but I’ve had better in LA.

GREAT tacos - great meat options. I love the ribs. I love the salsas but they do need a spicier option, like habanero but it's definitely not a dealbreaker.

Tortillas are handmade - delicious.

They do have a long line but that's a good sign. They have a sitting area which is pretty cool. Friendly staff & overall I think they are the best in East LA!

LA street Tacos. It's a corner local, north of the 5 fwy Atlantic exit. They are pretty busy. We tried it on a sunday afternoon around 6pm and it had a long line. They open at 5pm. So they have the traditional al pastor trompo and asada, they have grilled sausage and ribs (rib tips). I'm going to say, straight up, the ribs are ok. They are of a dry rub style not traditional American ribs or even Kansas city or southern style ribs. It's just a rib. It not melt of the bone type, or sweat savory. Not what a traditional American style texas, southern or Kansas style ribs; its different. If ordering for 1st time, give it a try and make your own opinion. It comes with tortillas or rice and beans for $15. I would stick to the tacos. The al pastor was ok. They dont use pineapple slices, which some people prefer; I'm one of those "some people ",. To be honest, I really didnt feel or taste anything that stood out. They are super busy do they pro-make thier quesadilla tortillas with cheese and it's not actually fresh made. Its also $3 a taco, which other places that are as good are about $1.50-$2.00. So you decide. I gave it a try but, I've had better in East LA, West, LA and other suburbs of LA. My take.!
