My brother had to get a copy of his birth certificate and we are from out of town. The service was very fast and easy! He didn’t have a single issue, there was also this beautiful painting.

I had ordered a birth certificate because I couldn’t find the one I had order in 2021! That same day we ended up finding it, so I called the Los Angeles, vital records department And told him of my situation this was within a few hours. They said there’s nothing they could do about it and I’d have to call the contracted company and speak with them. They in return said to me that they can’t do anything through their contract with the county. So basically they just want your money and don’t care. Now I remember why I left SoCal the greed.

I made an appointment for next month and decided to walk in today. I though they were not going to accept me but they did. Was quick, less than 20 min I walk out with my birth certificate. Staff was organized and nice. If you pay with a card there is a $1.75 processing fee.

My Husband went in to get a copy his Birth Certificate & I guess he was in the wrong County which is weird cuz he was born in an L.A County Hospital but before they told him all that they had Charge him first & didn’t want to give him a refund ..So they took his money & he walked out with no Birth Certificate…This is such a scam.!!!.
So now I gotta go to the right county and spend another $32.!!!!
Does anyone know what I can do to get my money back from this place.!!!

I was nervous to go here seeing some of the reviews but I decided to just check it out and I’m so glad I did. Everyone was so nice and helpful and I really don’t have anything bad to say. I walked in to get my children’s BC’s and I walked out with them. It was actually a nice experience. I’m glad I went.

This location is so organized and quick! The most efficient gov location I’ve seen. Incredibly helpful with what they know and can do. Shoutout to Crystal for sorting out an issue my wife and I had with processing our marriage license. After we exited the building, Crystal was a real one and called my phone for us to come back. She SAVED the day by giving us the forms and info we need to know to rectify the problem right there that day instead of us having to wait for it by mail. My wife and I are so thankful!
