0 Stars for a place where management seems to be completely disconnected with their employees... on a good day.. you'll be loaded in an hour.. but 95% of the time .. you will be waiting for 4 to 6 hours when it should only take 30 or 45 minutes load. Once loaded. You'll have to wait for the paperwork for another hour.
I have seen forklift drivers hiding and gathering talking about their personal business while many truck drivers are in line waiting for someone to do actual work.

Stupid slow place, people just don't want to work, because they are busy, they can go forward, backward for an hour and stand still, they know how to talk. It is time for management to think about the effectiveness of employees, since they do not work, but imitate work. They can stand and count four pallets for 40 minutes, creating the appearance of work...

While the workers seem to be ok the loading time is just bad. They focus so much on safety that they don’t do nothing. Takes at least 2-3 hours to get loaded. Companies way larger are 10 times more efficient. Other drivers saying the same thing here, even those that have a small pallet to unload are waiting these long hours too. Seems like they get you in and then send a 5year old to go find a needle in a hay stack. But that’s not fair to the 5yo tho since they can prob do better.
Also had my loader look at a the paperwork as if it was rocket science. Soon after he left and started moving stuff around I saw him move the same stack 4 times to diff locations. Not sure if he was confused or they are those paid by the hour workers 😂.

Honestly I don’t know why all this negative reviews. I got there around 9:45 am checked in, Ladies helped me with instructions since it was my first time getting loaded there. Had no pants they provided me with overalls lol.
When i proceeded to loading gate there were three trucks ahead of me. That’s was the only wait after they were done loading them they called me in and immediately started loading process. Time 10:50 am out strapping load 11:30 am. The only wait was waiting for those trucks to get loaded.
Need PPE here FYI.

Unexpectedly everything went smooth. In 8am, out 9am. Maybe fireworks helped.

Very slow I've been sitting here almost 4 hours I load alot at nucor but this place sucks

The slowest loading they take hours with the racks being next to the truck theyll load one leave 30-45 mins before the come back to load something 10 feet away. Ladies at the front desk are quite some characters rude aF
Worst place to come to waste of time. Rather stay at home and not work. Trash! Very disappointed

If you are here for shipping or receiving just know there is NO sense of urgency with the workers getting your merchandise fast! But the guys(workers) are cool if you get to know them. (Truck drivers) There is more than one entrance and exit for this huge yard mostly on Santa Fe ave and on 38th street.
