I, like most people, don’t usually take the time to write reviews, especially good ones. However, I really wanted to recognize just how amazing Mr. Crowson has been to me. His product (shadow 8 actuators and amp) is exceptional. It provides unbelievable tactile response (and I have 2 JTR Captivator4000ULFs shaking things) that really enhances the truly deep frequencies. I had an issue and had to send one back. It apparently suffered damage (prob my fault) but Mr. Crowson repaired it for free, even though damage is not a warranty repair. He has provided timely responses, and he personally responds to all emails. He also called me when these came in stock, and offered me the pricing at the time I started waiting, not the higher pricing at time of purchase. All these little things add up to an exceptional customer experience. Would absolutely recommend his product, without hesitation. If you want the best, go with Crowson.

Great product and great support! I’ve owned a TES100 along w their Model Amp One for over nine years and enjoy watching movies using the tactile effect system. I had called initially for assistance and Randolph took the time to solve our problem with my receiver setup. We’ve swapped chairs over the years and now use w our couch so the whole family can experience movie watching at its best!

Always wanted to use these actuators and finally pull the trigger to get a set of 4. Man! this is so fun and good to use. Whatever on the lower hz region came to live, esp after applying BEQ settings! The feeling is so intense from the movies now! Even my Mrs and kids are enjoying the motion and they even ask to replay particular scene again and again!

Communication with Crowson is a breeze! They may be busy to reply BUT they always get back in within a week! They also ensured that the items are checked and you are being kept informed of the shipping progress! This is the kind of confidence you can get when buying from them!

I will definitely recommend this product to my friends, watching movie with these fella under couch, things will never be the same again. You won't know what's missing until you have the actuators!

While searching to find the type of tactile transducer that would suit my needs, all roads pointed to the Crowson system. Randolph Crowson spoke at length with me about my system, and guided me to the level 2 complete package. He also gave me advice on implementing the units along with the isolation systems.

I now have the system in place, and I am blown away by the fidelity and sensitivity of the units. If you are looking for the most precise tactile experience, I cannot recommend Crowson Technology enough.

The owner Randolph is a CONMAN!! None of his home theater equipment works and he will not stand behind it. He will ignore your calls and emails hoping you give up. There are many more reputable companies at better prices who stand behind their product. Stay away!!!
