I’m a huge fan of Todd Fisher, the famous chef who competed in Hell’s kitchen. He’s one of the top chefs in Monterey area so when I saw his commercial on Instagram about a brisket sandwich, I had to have it. The brisket is cooked for 18 hours and it was soft and delicious, very well seasoned perfectly balanced. While there we also noticed a beef ribs that is slow cooked. It was served with some homemade pickles and a side of barbecue sauce which also appeared to be homemade. The food was excellent, but the service was a bit slow and the cashier who was delivering the food to our tablewould only bring one fork and knife so I had to go ask for another overall experiences. Excellent I highly recommend this place.

Great place to buy hard to find meats like duck or rabbit. Pricey but convenient. Also, they have a great staff. They're also usually busy so have patience.

First thing that hits you when you walk into this Butcher Shop is the FABULOUS, delicious smell that lingers in the air. I didn't realize they also sell sandwiches which was just and EXTRA bonus. There's so much to choose from Waygu, lamb, sausages all looked and sounded AMAZING, quail, brisket, Buffalo and MORE! We bought sausage with fermented black garlic, and another sausage with spinach and feta and had to get the Kielbasa sausage. The brisket was already cooked and we bought over a pound to heat up for dinner.
Service was SUPER friendly and there seemed to be a lot of regulars that had stopped in grab to what they needed. They also carry Baker's Bacon from Marina which I'm excited to try!
Their fresh dog food also seemed popular!
So of you're looking for a great local Butcher Shop you definitely need to stop by in Seaside and try The Meatery. Theur sandwiches so sounded AMAZING!

Great selection of amazing quality meats! Chef Todd and his team are so knowledgeable and helpful. Whether I am going in for lunch or to grab meats, it is always a fantastic experience. Thank you all! Such a great spot in our community.

So I initially loved the first experience I had at the meatery but today was awful. I don't know if maybe it was someone new at the grill, but both the burger and wedges were burnt. The meal was unacceptable for costing $23. I hope this is just a one off.

I would absolutely recommend! I came here for some sandwiches: Italian Po boy, Bahn mi (pork belly), and the Sunday special (tritip sandwich.) These sandwiches were amazing and have the most flavorful meat, complimented with the perfect toppings and very fresh bread.
The workers were very kind and had all the Covid precautions perfectly in place. They happened to be relaunching the muffuletta back onto their menu and even threw one in on the house. Taste is amazing! I can tell why customers were begging for this to come back on the menu.
They have just about everything you could want for a nice picnic or stellar charcuterie board. I also got a variety of drinks, house made ‘njdua (for a pizza night), one of their several fermented hot sauces (Serrano pepper), and some puppy treats! I would absolutely come back for more flavor adventures, added some pictures of the specials, experiences and kits.
Overall, you can tell the heart and soul is in the business and absolutely shines through the aesthetic of the space and quality of product offered!

We ordered 3 sandwiches: the Pork Belly Bahn Mi (hot sandwich), Pork Shoulder Torta (hot sandwich on a saucy plate), and the Italian Goomba (cold sub).

All worth fighting over!

I think this is the best butcher shop in our area! Such fresh grass fed meats and delicious sandwiches. And the service is wonderful!!
