I always read reviews before I purchase anything especially from a new to me company. However, I did not read any reviews before purchasing from Monterey Bay Herb Co until after making a small close to $100 purchase. After my order was shipped I came to Google to find reviews and was so upset I ordered based on what I was reading. However, I went to Amazon and read amazing reviews. I was conflicted and nervous about my order. Happy to say I was beyond pleased with my purchase. I ordered a pound of about 6 or 7 organic herbs. They all smell so good and fresh. They are authentic and just like the herbs from the shop in GA I used to purchase from before moving. I'm back home in a part of New England that has maybe one herb shop almost 2 hours from me. I used to order from Mountain Rose but they are so expensive now. I appreciate the affordable prices Monterey offers for a really great product. As long as they stay reasonable in price, they have a repeat customer out of me!

I have been with Monterey Herb Co. for years. I placed a recent order and worked really hard to get my order amount to $250.00 for free shipping. I had a discount and applied it at the end. It showed that after the discount I was safe on my amount for free shipping. After I hit pay it dropped me $3.00 below my $250.00. I honestly believed that I was safe with my order when I hit pay. I called them and the man I got on the phone was not helpful and wouldn't listen to what I was saying. I told him that I had been purchasing from Monterey for years and after his attitude and his being so rude I would never order from them again. He told me that was fine and my choice. I asked him if I could add one more thing to my order and he said NO. If you order from them just be sure what the order form says and what you are actually paying are right because they don't care about helping you in customer service. Truly they seem to have such a good business that they don't need your business.

It was my first time ordering from this company and, the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is becasue the order took over 14 days to get to me. However, everything was packaged well, it was undoubtebly fresh, and exactly as expected. So, if you need your herbs immediately maybe try a diff route but if you can wait, they're def good quality product as advertised. Will order again.

Just to let future customers know. This company is high ranked as well. So you don't have to be worried if your order will be defected in any way sort. I have been ordering from this site since c19, and never had a problem. I rank them up there or better than Mountain Rose Herb on freshness, great customer service, price, and shipping very quickly. I stop using the other site named because of there 7 to 10 day waiting period before shipping, and the shipping costs is ridiculous. I love everything about herbco and recommend them to anyone looking for a great outcome.
