I recently ordered and received a custom
Zinc : brass hood from Fine Design and I couldn’t be happier. They were amazing from start to finish. Brandin went the extra mile for me and drove the hood down to my home! It was delivered on time and no issues! I had contacted several custom hood manufacturers and at the last minute before choosing someone out of state I found Fine Design and it was definitely the right decision!!!!

Couldn’t have had a better experience ordering a custom desk! I found Fine Design Fabrication and contacted them – I thought for sure it was going to be a headache because of the distance, so I braced myself and lowered my expectations. However, their customer service was amazing! They contacted me at every step of the design, ensuring that they had captured my vision. I was pleasantly surprised with their attention to detail, packaging, and delivery.

They not only built the desk so I can reassemble it easily, their packaging was tough protecting my new investment. My work area has never looked better.

Fast shipping and Amazing Craftsmanship!! There were no scratches or smudges . We ordered this sneeze guard (a Must as we will open back up our Dental Practice) during Covid pandemic. It fits perfectly into the check out space and we are able to carry a conversation with our patients without drowning out the sound. We placed our order late April before the state of California offically opened back up, so we were able to receive our glass very quickly. So if you are placing an order, please understand that there are multiple businesses also doing the same (racing to meet the states criteria for reopening during these unprecedented times (shipping times may vary) But you truly will be HAPPY with your purchase! If I could put negative stars I would. I call and call and call, and email and email back and forth and they don't have the decency to even call because they are probably so far behind. If you are even considering them, I would run for the hills. They are going to get themselves in major lawsuits if they keep doing business like this. I would pay thousands of dollars more to get customer service and a better product. I hope they go out of business because I wold hate for another customer to suffer like I did. Even their own office manager write a positive review about the company. Thats a sad way to try to get better stars from an altogether low end company. plus the products are average. and if I ever get the hood I ordered, its already tainted from the embarrassing lack of customer service.

Order 2 custom built reception desks for one of our church sites a year ago. One arrived with damage by the shipping company. The damaged part was custom built and shipped to us within 2 weeks. We were so pleased that we recently ordered 2 more for our second church site. Both arrived with no issues. They provided great customer service each time.

BUYER BEWARE.....

While they appear to have good intentions they have little to no care for adhering to delivery times on the desk was shipped over a week late.

The manager Tyler Diggs was not at all understanding and only cared for stating a clause in the contract when it came to delivery. They shipped a 550lb desk with only lift gate service, and not inside. So essentially the custom furniture would stay outside in the elements upon delivery. I was unable to change the shipment details as they were the shipper. When i asked to please have it changed to inside delivery so the desk would not stay exposed I was told NO. Pretty sad, customer service, pretty sad that the owner VINCE not once returned my numerous calls to get an owner perspective to help resolve this simple request.

SO now I have to pay a moving company to $400.00 to roll the desk inside.

Update!! The hood arrived & it is BEAUTIFUL! If everything else in the kitchen was ordinary it would not have even mattered because FDF hood is the centerpiece! Even the contractors unpacking were gasping with ohhhs & ahhhs about just how extraordinary it is.

The finished product + the competitive pricing + the likability of the people working at FDF made the headaches worth it in the end. Apparently, the delay issues were more to do with unexpected HR issues & the chaos of the holidays. Frankly, it would be 5 stars if not for all the bumps in the road AND because they also need someone 100% admin focused who also answers the phone & CSR issues. So glad it all worked out in the end!

I’m still in the process after months of emails and almost no phone calls to resolve an issue with the kitchen range hood that could’ve been resolved in a 10 minute conversation. I started the process in the middle of October. It is almost January. I hope that it works out and without an all-out battle of credit card & legal disputes. But frankly, it will be one of the few times worth assuming the negative energy and expenses as a matter of principle!! It’s perplexing since the gentleman actually coordinate everything seem like great guys, except nothing gets done or resolved. Either someone is sick, on vacation, warehouse fire, holiday break, point of contact switches, or just zero communication between the team… It doesn’t seem like Anything can get resolved.

I wasted over a month trying to explain to them why our customer would not settle for damaged products. The products they make are gorgeous, But nothing is worth the stress and headache of delaying an entire project, unanswered calls & no assurances. I’m hoping that it arrives. They need to have someone answering and returning calls. Running a business solely on emails when you’re dealing with thousands and thousands of dollars in custom products is outrageous. Nobody here bought socks. They need to run it like what it is. If everything gets resolved, I will update this review with a picture of what I hope is a beautiful undamaged kitchen range hood.

If I could put negative stars I would. My husband and I both own small businesses and always put our customers first and foremost. This company has The Worst customer service I have EVER EVER received in my life. I don’t care how much you like one of their products, their lack of communication, lying, and lack of knowing what is going on should make you want to run. After a long long list of terrible things that happened throughout this process I finally received my desk and it was pretty scuffed up and dinged. I. Any imagine dealing with them for another second so I’m leaving it at this. Please take your business to a company that actually cares!
