This art installation/monument is a tribute to the first African slaves of America. It is a beautiful piece and makes your heart really feel the pain and truths. I highly recommend coming to see this when you come through Golden Gates Park.

This is a monument as much as it is an art installation. It fills the area well and compliments the museums in the area. Read up on the plaques as much as you can for the appreciation behind the install. This is worth a look if you're in the area.

Cheap garden hoses wrapped in coils. Certainly stands in contrast to the real art by talented artests all around. If you want to make protest art that's fine but at least make it well or put some effort into it. This is just an eye sore. A gift gard to Lowes and a few free weekends.

Go see the Gustav vase nearby if you actually want to see art or something interesting.

The text of the "Reckoning" by Dana King is presented more than an opinion than a fact. But I guess you can't expect anymore from San Francisco, the city where it's only legacy is the place where you can see naked people walking around drunk

It's sad to see young Americans so easily manipulated by their lack of education. Slavery was not a uniquely African-American experience. Slavery existed for thousands of years all across the world. Should I, a Slavic person (from the world 'slave'), be asking for reparations too?
