As a small business owner I know full well the impact of negative review so I don't write this lightly. While the system itself seems to be high quality, the installation process was not and the customer care following a very serious incident was poor IMO. The installer used the company provided template installation guide. Unfortunately, one of the lift mounts ripped out of the ceiling missing my head by inches. 400 pounds of a metal grate could have killed me. I called the company and spoke with Anna who was shocked. The usual how could this happen blah, blah. Net, net is that the installer came back out. His "men" went into the attic and said it looked like the wood was soft because of termites and wet. I explained that we had checked for termites and replaced the roof two years ago. My home is well north of a million and in great shape however, we hired termite and wood inspectors who both came back with no issues. The real problem is that when these installers are going through a ceiling into studs/beams they are doing so blindly. Our installer went the extra mile following this near disaster buying new 2x4's and bolting through them while in the attic and they did this to all the lifts. Good thing as two more lifts were also lose and would have collapsed. Anna's attitude following was all's ok alls well that ends well. They took nothing off for me nearly being severly hurt or killed or of my time to remove all the 40 plus boxes from all the platforms. I am scheduled for back surgery soon from a fall and did not need this giant headache. They offered zero despite in a text message before the system was fixed from Anna stating she would look at the bill and get back to me. Not looking for a hand out but given the circumstances something other than alls well that ends well is warranted. Hopefully they will change their installation guide to use through bolts in the attic so no one else is subject to injury or death.
