Been using Bay for a number of years and quality has always been good, but there have been issues at times with timeliness. Well, I recently submitted an order and paid an extra 50% to cut production time in half, and selected UPS two day shipping. Stated production times on their site for the product was 1-2 days. So assuming a two day production time, less the 50%, would have been a 1 day production, 2 days to ship, 3 days total. Well, after three days I got a notification that my order had shipped. Thing is, when you get that notification that your order has shipped, it hasn't. It's just UPS being notified that a label has been created....nothing has actually shipped yet. So...no I'm going to have an unhappy client because they were able to get their product when they thought they would.

When I called CS they told me the production times on the site are "estimates", which is their way of making sure if they don't deliver timely they can wiggle out of it. The technology is there that they can update their production times and post that to the site in real-time, or near real-time. The CS agent told me she would be credit me the 50% rush fee, but not back to my card....as a account credit. I'll be using that and moving to Miller's or WHCC.

After a few experiences ordering with Bay Photo Lab, I can say I've been extremely happy with everything I've received. Well packaged, timely, and gorgeous reproductions of my photos on multiple mediums. Hopefully if I ever need their customer service it will be as good of an experience as the rest of the process.

Submitted my photos based on the great reviews. They arrived grainy and blurry. The photos look beautiful on the camera, on my laptop, on my tv and on my phone and the prints that arrived look like something from my grandmothers house in the 90s. I’m guessing whoever does quality control took the day off. If the files I’ve submitted weren’t high enough resolution, someone should have reached out instead of charging me $500 for garbage. Extremely disappointed and frustrated. Sick to my stomach, I have a show next week and now I’m out $500 and have nothing presentable. I reached out to their customer service, haven’t heard back. Hoping they can make this right but my faith is low based on what they’re willing to send you after charging a fortune. It’s just garbage.

Excellent deliverables hampered by a Customer Service team that makes promises they cannot keep.

The product Bay Photo produces is excellent, and I have no issue with the quality.

However, the company seems quite disorganized when it comes to policy execution and accounting practices. I was given clear instructions on several aspects of my order and proceeded based on a pricing and shipping promise from Customer Service.

My credit card was charged based on different pricing and shipping costs—hundreds more than I was told it would be.

I have emails, notes, and other proof to back up my claims, yet all I’ve received from Customer Service is communication like, "After I told you what I told you, my fulfillment team said I couldn't do that."

THEY NEVER LET ME KNOW! They just corrected the issue internally without contacting me to inform me that we needed to pursue a different approach with the order.

It’s incredibly frustrating how little accountability there is. The head of Customer Support can be proven wrong with emails and receipts, yet they refuse to correct the accounting issue, choosing to let pride get in the way.

I strongly urge anyone considering Bay Photo to look elsewhere. Their approach is chaotic, with inconsistent agreements and unkept promises. The lack of internal alignment is evident and needs urgent attention.

Something has changed. Bay Photo used to be a reliable company to work with, but since new management took over, the experience has deteriorated.

There are still some great, customer-facing individuals like Julie in the front office, and it breaks my heart to have to write this. She genuinely tries to be friendly and helpful, but her efforts can’t fix the internal issues that need immediate resolution.

Had a very dishonest and frustrating experience here recently and won’t be coming back. I had credit on my account and the CS rep (which I won’t name here out of courtesy) instructed me to place the order, and they would refund me back the amount of credit. I had even taken a screenshot of our chat. After placing the order, they confirmed via email that they would credit me back. After checking my credit card statement and inquiring with them over several months, i was never refunded the credit, and they stopped responding to my inquiries. All this over $71, so not worth it to keep chasing. This is unfortunate because I do like their prints, but now will take my orders elsewhere after being a customer for over a decade, and referring several people too! Their dishonesty and lack of communication is a not a very cool or honest way to do business.

As a landscape photographer I can’t say enough about the high quality products Bay Photo offers! Their website is easy to navigate and they provide tons of print options including metal, acrylic, fine art paper, framed prints, other types of photo printed materials, calendars, etc. Their mail processing and shipping is reliable. I absolutely LOVE the finished printed result of my personal photography/art that I capture of the Maine outdoors. If you’re in search of exceptional photography prints look no further than Bay Photo!

Bay Photo is awesome. Customer service is friendly, efficient, and professional. Products have been consistently very high quality. I have had a couple of printing issues, but when I contacted Bay Photo to report these, they corrected and re-printed to orders quickly. Bay Photo is now my go to lab for prints, and other hard-copy products.
