I had a wonderful experience at VFS Global. They were able to get me a visa in less than a week, just in time for my upcoming trip. The staff is amazing! One agent stayed past her shift to help process my visa application and waited patiently for me to gather all the necessary documentation (that I had failed to bring along to my appointment). I look forward to working with VFS Global in the future and would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of visa services in the Seattle Area. Thanks, again!

Went in for GEP application at this location.
Unlike the other reviews, had a rather smooth check in process and waited for 5-7mins for a representative to review the application. Staff was patiently helping the customers and answering questions.

Later same day they were unable to download a document i had uploaded and called my cell to ask for it to be emailed, kudos for using phone to notify.

While my experience was smooth, do recognize there is opportunity for VFS:

- Include parking information for visitors. What options are available and if the business validates the parking.

- Add a phone/email contact for customers to reach out and get questions answered instead of having to come down all the way. Saw a few people walk in, even elderly people needed guidance and clarification on the applications and timelines. A knowledgeable customer service agent will be wonderful!

- Finding an appointment was challenging and currently appointment slots are between 9-11am only. Given the demand, would be great if additional capacity can be added. (Slots were not available in Bellevue either for a month out.)

- Payment information was not found while completing the application, so carried a check and learnt that personal checks are not accepted. Clarity in the fee and payment methods would make for a better experience.

- Simplify website and workflows, its convoluted and with full information it can be helpful in reducing queries from customers.

I’m incredibly grateful to the VFS office in Seattle for their smooth, well-organized, and efficient process. Most importantly, I truly appreciate their support in accommodating my emergency passport renewal request without a prior appointment — something that meant a great deal during a stressful time. The in person appointment process was smooth from the initial verification to the VFS officer's evaluation and closure. They had suggestions for a missing document from my pack and were helpful. While there are opportunities with the appointment scheduling process with their website, once done, the in-person experience is smooth. This is based on 2 recent in-person experiences with VFS.

While there are a lot of negative reviews about this place, we had a very positive experience. The front desk staff helped us with our passport renewal and the process was very smooth. The staff answered all our questions and everything was done in an organized fashion. My only feedback would be to please share details about parking since it’s quite difficult to find a spot. I do not know if they validate parking on the premises or not.

I had a great experience with the VFS office in Seattle for my Indian passport renewal. The appointment was scheduled for 9 AM, and they were strict about no walk-ins, which helped the process run smoothly. The document verification started on time, and I was reminded to bring all mandatory documents, including the "Change of Appearance" form. Two passport photos were also required. I applied for a regular passport(non Tatkal). Note that there's no option for passport pickup; it will be mailed to the address you provide. I was pleasantly surprised when I received my passport back in just one week! Highly recommend this VFS center for anyone needing passport services.
