Greg and his crew are AMAZING. They have worked with our organization (the University District Food Bank) for several years producing incredible videos that have documented the work we do at our organization.
This year we asked them to focus the video on one of our food bank customers. We really hoped to document this client and their family's story which showed their struggle with poverty, food insecurity, and homelessness. We really wanted to help them tell their story without exploiting their experience, and were worried that a film about them would do just that. Greg and his crew quelled our fears immediately by demonstrating care and empathy for this family and an understanding of the challenges of making a video like this.
This family's story was deeply personal and required a kind of compassion, non-judgement, and sensitivity that Greg and his crew provided seamlessly. They helped tell this families story in such a respectful and beautiful way that truly moved the attendance at our annual auction where this video was shown. Through the video that Tenakee Films produced, we were able to raise money to support programs at our food bank that help individuals like the ones featured in the video. Greg and co. were truly fantastic and could not have navigated this extremely sensitive story in a better way.

Additionally, this video was my first time ever being filmed or interviewed on camera. Naturally, I was worried and nervous. Luckily for me Greg and Mike made me feel so comfortable and were able to coach and support me through the process.

Their talent is clear based on the quality of their films and videos. What truly blows you away when working with them is their warmth, understanding, and integrity. I would work with them again in a heart beat!
