My husband and I got married on September 7th, 2024. A week and a half before our wedding day, our videographer had to cancel on us due to a family emergency. We knew that having a wedding video was not necessarily a necessity, but it was something we really, really wanted to remember our day forever. By August 31st, just one week before our wedding we got linked up with Reid by a crazy chain of connections through family friends and social media. Reid was game and ready to save the day!! Which he absolutely did.

I truly believe Reid is always who was meant to video our wedding. He showed up more than prepared, with lots of energy, and captured our day perfectly. He met every need we asked of him on such a short time frame. The turn around time for him delivering video was so impressive. You can tell that this is a passion of his and something he loves doing- it is evident in the work he produces. Everyone we show our video to is so impressed and we are so beyond happy with the outcome. It is something that we will watch forever and get to show our kids and grandkids in the many years to come.
We cannot thank Reid enough for saving the day and showing up for us. We would 1000% recommend him to any couples planning their wedding and looking for a videographer.

We were referred to Best Made Videos by our wedding planners. We spent $2,070 for a ceremony live stream and a video guest book. Leading up to our wedding Reid was HANDS DOWN our favorite vendor. He was flexible in working with us on our contract scope, incredibly responsive over email, and had very helpful suggestions along the way. The day of our wedding we even told him he was our favorite vendor because he’s just so darn nice and easy to work with.

Because I really like Reid, I sincerely wish I could say we were happy with the quality of the videos. Unfortunately, that’s just not the case. For the ceremony live stream, there were two big issues: 1) live stream camera angles that highlighted the parking lot rather than the gorgeous greenhouse, trees, or the canal and 2) turning the groom's mic on too soon so that private conversations were live streamed.

For the video guest book, it did not look professional AT ALL. The entries had poor lighting, inconsistent audio, and an ugly background. The video guest book was supposed to have a background in front of a large window with trees and the canal as the backdrop. This information was sent to Reid from our wedding planners 11 days before the wedding. Unfortunately, on our wedding day of there was a miscommunication and Reid set up in a poorly lit corner that prominently featured the parking lot, the thermostat, and the fire alarm. I know that this was only partially his fault (my understanding is that our planners screwed up and directed him to set up there), but it was a huge disappointment and we wish he would have spoken up and adhered to our original game plan. In addition to the lighting and the ugly background, during some of the video guest book entries you can see the videographer adjusting the microphone stand. There were also several audio issues where the microphone (provided by Best Made Videos) appears to cut out halfway through the video entry.

In summary, as much as Reid is the nicest guy and I sincerely wish him the best, I would never trust him to capture once-in-a-lifetime video memories again.

Reid was great to work with. He answered all of our questions and helped make this a very easy decision. He was able to capture my entire wedding day from when I started getting ready, our first look, venue shots, and our send off. This was one of the best decisions we made and are grateful that he was able to capture all of our special moments for us to be able to look back on in the years to come. Reid did a wonderful job! I would highly recommend him for your wedding videographer!

Reid was great to work with throughout the process of our wedding and made our special day stress free and magical! He made the whole process very easy by providing transparent pricing during the initial discussion, prompt communication throughout the planning process, and amazing experience on the day of. He had a detailed questionnaire that prompted us to talk through things we hadn’t thought about in terms of things we wanted to capture for the video. On the day of, he arrived early and had everything all setup while we were still getting ready. He worked seamlessly well with our photographer (who was directing all the shots) and made it feel like he wasn’t even there while still being able to capture everything that was on our list. Reid finished the video within a week after the wedding and the product was amazing and captured everything that was on our list! We would highly recommend Reid for your wedding photographer!

Reid with Best Made Videos far exceeded our expectations. He was communicative and thorough from the beginning, consistently available via email and very responsive. On the day of our wedding, we were so pleased by his natural ease of working with our photographer and other vendors and family seamlessly and also providing us direction and guidance without issue. Reid was super professional and captured all of our key moments despite have a very long a complicated day (Indian ceremony in the morning, western style ceremony in the evening, and Slovak ceremony at night). He ended up coordinating with our photographer ahead of the wedding day which was a pleasant surprise and the two of them worked together to make all our photo+video needs go smoothly. He would often go above and beyond, such as jumping in during family photos to manage guests, and help make sure everyone was smiling and not in the way. We had multiple guests point out what a great energy Reid brought to the whole day! His turn around time for our videos were super quick, and being able to have a full recording of our ceremonies to share with family abroad was amazing. He was also super communicative leading up to, during, and after the wedding so we knew exactly what to expect. Don’t hesitate to book Reid, you really won’t regret it!
