I took my kids back to the Jelly Belly Factory a few weeks ago, and we still had a great time. They’ve changed things a bit—there’s no longer live candy production to watch. Instead, the tour is now self-guided with videos showing how the jelly beans are made. It’s not quite as cool as seeing the process live, but still fun and informative. We stopped and had lunch st the Cafe. The food is pretty good and the staff were extremely helpful. We used to go here a lot when the kids were younger and we've always had a great time. Things did change a lot but of course, we still love the jelly beans—can’t leave without grabbing a few bags.

We came on a Monday and, fortunately for us, it was production day. NO PRODUCTION ON WEEKENDS, so try and go on a weekday. We took the self guided tour-$8 for adults $4 for kids. which took us a little over an hour to get through. Throughout the tour, there are interactive games, guess the smell trivia, videos to stop and watch, and plenty of photo opportunities of the factory at work. There are staff members on hand to answer any questions you may have. Each tour offers a cap and a complementary bag of Jelly Bellies. Tours are wheelchair accessible.
If you're not interested in the tour, there is a gift shop, cafe, chocolate counters, and a wine and chocolate pairing (upstairs). There is also a little train ride that takes guests around the outside of the factory. Overall, it was a very entertaining day. Shout out to the staff as well. EVERYONE was very friendly and helpful.

We drove a couple hours from San Francisco to visit the Jelly Belly Factory. I was hoping there were more hands on experiences for the kids. On site there is a store, a tour you can complete in 20 mins if you spend the adequate time watching the videos for each section. Some areas of the factory were closed due to maintenance and deep cleaning of the facility. From other reviews I was hoping that by going on a weekday it would be more active which wasn't the case.
The tour section of it is super loud so if you have a kiddo that's sensitive to noise I'd bring headphones.
After the tour, we proceeded to go downstairs and shop. They also have a cafeteria which we opted not to visit, we had other plans for lunch. So I can't comment on that aspect.

As we were walking out we found a train ride which my 4 year old LOVED! They drive you over to their museum which is on the other side of the parking lot. There were a couple festive photo props there but mostly lots of history on the start of the company.

Overall, it was underwhelming. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are a diehard Jelly Belly fanatic 😁

We had an absolutely delightful experience at the Jelly Belly Factory in Fairfield, CA! I took my daughter on a tour, and it was such a magical day. Pro tip: Get there early! They open at 9:15 am, and arriving early allowed us to beat the crowds and enjoy everything at a relaxed pace. The factory tour is incredibly cool! Watching how jelly beans are made was fascinating for both adults and kids, and riding the jelly bean train added an extra layer of fun. My daughter couldn’t stop smiling! After the tour, we enjoyed a delicious meal at the cafe. The portion sizes were fantastic—plenty to fill you up after an exciting morning. And the prices? Extremely affordable, which makes this an even better family outing. We also loved exploring the jelly bean museum, which was filled with fun and quirky memorabilia that gave us a deeper appreciation for the history of Jelly Belly. Overall, this is an affordable, fun, and family-friendly destination that we can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommend for kids and adults alike!

We went on a Sunday, a non-production day,but we were happy to do a quick visit. The self-tour was worth the $12 we spent for both of us. Making our own bag of favorite flavors was the highlight, and had to buy a bag of flops! Loved learning the history and how jelly bellies are made. Extra fun for kids under 10!

Fine time here getting to see how the famous jelly beans are made. The factory tour was basically self guided but there were lots of interactive exhibits to help you learn about the process. The factory workers are very, very happy and helpful. The tour was only $8 for adults and $4 for kids so it’s well worth the stop. Along with the price of admission, each person is given a paper hat and small bag of beans to enjoy (after the tour).

We had a lot of fun visiting Jelly Belly factory on Tuesday afternoon. My kiddo was obviously excited for the candies but we (the adults) were impressed with factory tour. It was a great experience to see live how these candies are made. The complimentary train ride was short from the visitor center entrance to the front of museum and back. The candy store has imperfect candy for cheaper price.

The disappointing part was the cafeteria. The food was pretty bad. I ordered a cup of chili and it was overly salty. My kid’s burger looked very dry. My hubby’s burger with mushroom & cheese looked a bit better but he said that it didn’t taste good. So, just skip the cafeteria imo.
