HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. We all rushed home from work and school to drive 30 minutes through commute traffic, and we were turned away staff the door. My daughter is hoping to enlist in the Airforce soon and is feeling nervous about it. After reading the positive reviews about this location, we thought it would be good for her to speak to someone in person about her worries. Knowing that they close at 5:00 pm on weekdays, we are scheduled to be there at 4:15PM to at least get a conversation started and meet a recruiter. Think we had 45 minutes before closing. We were excited to get there early. Once we rang the bell, someone popped their head out and said, "We're closing now, here's a card, you can call the highlighted number with any questions you have." And then such the door. Horrible experience. I feel terrible for our daughter because obviously that encounter did not ease her worry, it only made it worse. We will be finding another recruitment office; I hope they conduct themselves with some level of professionalism.

I had an outstanding experience at this U.S. Air Force recruiting office. SSgt Tucker was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and approachable. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel welcome and took the time to thoroughly explain the enlistment process, benefits, and career opportunities. She was also very patient with answering all my questions and provided valuable insights into what life in the Air Force would be like. SSgt Tucker genuinely cared about my goals and worked with me to find the best path to achieve them.

If you’re considering joining the Air Force, this is the place to start. Their guidance and support made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!

Elk Grove Air force recruiting was very helpful throughout my whole journey from BMT all the way through Tech School. I was scared to join at first because I knew nothing about the Air Force, but Sergeant Miller made sure all my questions were answered. He was very patient with me. The Air Force Elk Grove Recruiting office was great experience from the start. It was very welcoming when I decided to join the Air Force. Both TSgt Miller and SSgt Mclaughlin are professional helpful individuals when it comes with the recruiting process. Both are excellent recruiters. My recruiter TSgt Miller guided me through the process and helped me to get what I wanted best for me. Thanks to him, I am enjoying the start of my Air Force career.
