My project was an upstairs remodel including 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and stairs. We were working with another contractor until he abandoned the job. So after a difficult exhausting experience, I wasn't eager to look for a new contractor.

I looked for recommendations and researched many contractors including Gio at Laguna Bay Developing. What made me choose Gio was that he is a real person and treats you like one as well. He listens to you to help get to something you will like and he can deliver on. He's realistic and will give you the options of what can be done and what it would cost, allowing you to make decisions that work with your budget.

The project had a good pace overall with people working everyday unless there was a reason for a break(like waiting on material). The quality of work was good and when I would give feedback and ask for correction, Gio would fix them to the best of his abilities. I have a high standard(even more than my budget sometimes haha) and he was always trying to meet them and make us happy.

It was really easy talking about payments, he is fair and open to discuss if there are any concerns. I never though, I'd get through a project without some big issues at the close of the project, but with Gio I shook his hand and told him I would reach out for any future projects. Overall a great experience, especially for a contractor! 🙂

David and Team are amazing. They constructed a 500 sq ft master suite addition for us. The craftsmanship was excellent, workers were kind and respectful. David is extremely communicative, transparent, and had staff working every day (which does not always happen with contractors as sometimes they just don't show up). Another big plus was David did not nickel and dime for everything, including small adjustments to the plan, making the process much less stressful. We really appreciated the relationship and could not be happier with the final product. David is definitely now our "go-to" for any housing projects we need done.

Amazing- would recommend Laguna Bay to anyone thinking about a home project big or small.

What I love- David builds relationships and not just one-and-done engagements. He’s going to care about the work being done as if it was his own home.

My wife and I have been thinking of remodeling the kitchen for quite some time, and we decided to interview contractors. My wife had a pretty good idea of what she wanted the kitchen to look like, and the first two contractors didn't listen to us. They were trying to push their views on us. We were very discouraged from our experience and canceled our meeting with the last contractor.

We met with David, the owner of the company, a young guy full of energy and has tremendous knowledge of construction. David was there every day, making sure everything is smooth. We had few issues along the way, but David found to each case a quick solution and made the project go very smoothly as he promised. We have been so pleased with them that we ended up doing our master bathroom, guest bathroom, and powder room.

We needed our back deck removed and replaced with pavers. We saw representatives from a few companies who talked to us about the work and gave us quotes. We wisely chose Laguna Bay Developing because their quote was competitive and they laid out in detail what they would be doing for us. The whole project was a pleasure. Everyone at Laguna Bay was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. And the result was beautiful. We couldn't be more pleased with this company.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Laguna Bay. While pleasant to and polite, the work crew was unskilled and much of the work needed to be done more than once. For example, the floor of my shower had to be redone twice before it would drain properly. I've included two photos: an outlet in the room that shared a wall with the bathroom that was pushed out to make room for a pipe, and the hose for the shower head which is upside down. The towel hangers were mounted with screws directly into the drywall (without anchors) and the paint in the toilet area immediately pealed off the wall. The company piled much of the construction debris in my backyard, where it sat for the better part of two months. When I asked when they would fix these and other problems Laguna Bay responded that they could have someone take care of the problems in 10 months. I highly recommend against using this company.

I got 6 bids for the job, Laguna Bay developing was one of the most competitively priced andeverything was outlined so there were no surprise costs. The thing that truly set the bid apart was the attention to detail, Gio went through everything in the room and even pointed out things that they would fix that I never would have thought of. This was a theme throughout the whole remodel, every person that came into our home was conscientious, meticulous and cleaned up after themselves.
