The staff at Marathon are pleasant to interact with. I don't know why this happened in my experience with Marathon but here are the details:
Ordered a corner cap, roof rail, front top Radius, and white painted roof.
Here is what they sent (see the photos)
Ordered parts on July 10, 2024. Some parts arrived on August 5, 2024, understandable since they were coming from California by ground shipment. Parts arrived damaged. But that's on ESTES Freight handling.

My complaint is this:
1) The "radius" ($167) was sent as a flat sheet of aluminum. I had to spend another $250 at a metal shop to have it arched.
I could have purchased this locally
2) The Roof Skin was all aluminum, NOTwhite as I ordered it.
AFTER the part arrived I was told that it only comes unpainted.
I could have purchased this locally.
3) The corner cap does fit but does not have the slot to install a clearance lamp.

I thought I was getting OEM parts.

4) Spent $1,000 on shipping. Could have been much less if Marathon would have been upfront with me about the parts.

I would have denied delivery but after contacting Marathon, I was instructed to accept the delivery, make notes and take pictures.
I asked for some type of compensation for the damaged parts but it was denied by ESTES (see my review on their G profile)
Additionally ESTES lost the most critical part and once they found it here in Houston, sent it all the way back to Marathon in California. So, I had to wait another 3 weeks for the part to be able to begin repairs.

The staff is pleasant. But the outcome of this purchase was disappointing. Just wanted to share my experience to help any others who order parts from long distance.

was a little bit harsh on my 1st review...
Nick is doing his best at all times and running around in between the shop to the office, he is managing calls in as well, taking orders and process payments. for a person like me that don't know what im talking about in a professional language, he gets me and understand what i need and making it ready for me last minute, you know what? this is priceless, especially when you have a truck down that a rental costing you $150 per day.

Called in for a rough estimate a truck repair, they asked for me to send in pictures. One week, several emails and additional photos later, they tell me they only give estimates in person. Why waste your customers time like that?
