Had an amazing time with Carlos at our wedding.. He is a good person but unfortunately, we never received our ceremony videos, vows, speeches, or 5 minute movie that we paid $4,200 for. We only received a 1 minute teaser 2 months after the wedding (not 10 days like advertised). Carlos told us he is going through a personal hardship and would get us the videos by valentines day. Since then, we have reached out several times with no answer. It breaks our hearts to know we have lost footage of the best day of our lives and will likely never hear back from Carlos and/or receive our videos that we paid so much money for, unless we decide to move forward with a lawyer (which we are heavily considering). Do NOT pursue him for videography as he has sadly chosen to give up on his career.

The connection we made with Carlos was almost instantaneous - after our first meeting we knew he was going to be so much fun to work with. Where do I even begin about Carlos and his whole team at IZ Cinema!? As a wedding planner, I work with a lot of videographers, and I can honestly say that Carlos and his team Austin and Nick, are some of my absolute favorites! Not only are they incredibly talented, but they bring such great energy to every wedding day! They are professional, organized, so much fun to be around, and have a true gift of making everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. I was the mother of the bride, and we financed the October 2019 wedding at the beautiful Sand Rock Farm in Aptos. We planned the wedding for one year and as everyone knows there is an overwhelming number of decisions to be made. My daughter found Carlos and IZ Cinema and we could not have been happier.

Carlos' two assistants Austin and Nick worked our wedding and they were fantastic about working alongside our photographer Amber (DeJoy Photography - also highly recommended). As my daughter said, they were great because they were so chill- barely knew they were there a lot of the time.

Carlos texted my daughter the Monday after the wedding to tell her how amazing the wedding looked and that he was sending over a short little teaser. We were so excited! And then less than 2 weeks later we got a gorgeous one-minute teaser. Based on these teasers we know the final video will be amazing. We can highly recommend IZ Cinema!

I used to work in the film industry (wedding videography in particular) and when my little sister told me she was hiring videographers for her wedding, I HIGHLY advised her against it because it always feels like they are in the way. Being the MOH and very much involved in the wedding, I was surprised to find how distant the crew was throughout the entire day. Not to mention, they were still able to get such incredible footage!

Most videographers focus on "getting the shot" rather than letting the moments be more candid, but if you value a high-quality videographer who is non-invasive/observant/equally as personable, this is one of the few good ones out there.

(Thanks Carlos for everything!! Can't wait to see all the footage of me bawling my eyes out!)
