I went in to get a different opinion on how to cut some thin plastic for a project. The man (6' 1", white, early 50's, didn't catch his name) was very rude. Told him i was very, very limited on my tools to cut a thin plastic piece that has some curves. What he told me was a sum of "if you don't have the proper tools, then you shouldn't bring the product." Did not once ask me a question. If this person was management of some kind, then they need to work on their customer service. Made me feel like i was an idiot.

Very helpful staff. Very pleasant staff. All my questions were answered, and they provided me with the right materials. They were extremely fast, as soon as I went back inside they were done cutting my materials that I needed. And she even carried it to my car for me .
I would recommend this company to anybody who needs their services.

I enjoy everything about this store. It's very pricey, but you get what you pay for. This store has unique items, and good quality products. You go in here thinking you know what you are looking for, and you find it and so much more. The employees really know there stuff, it's the crafting supplies that keeps me going back. The different things this store has, are things that you usually won't find in other my stores. I suggest checking this store out if you haven't yet. It's a business that has been around for a long time. I purchased window tint today and decoupage as well as a magnifying bead that can easily be rolled across pages of a book. The employees were knowledgeable as well as helpful. Very personalized experience.

I went into the Sacramento TAP plastics store and the ENTIRE staff was beyond amazing. I’ve never experienced customer service like this place. They are just so wonderful- so helpful- they spend a lot of time and are very patient with newbies or experts or any kind using acrylic or plastics in general. I was able to tell them my specific laser printer and they knew exactly the dims and best material that would be non-toxic and safe for my house and family. I laughed more than I ever have and also was happy to support a company like this. They showed me so many awesome attributes of acrylic that I would have never noticed until they excitedly showed me a sample- I def got more than I planned to get- but I’m so glad I did. The material cut like butter on my glowforge and I didn’t waste a single piece- thanks to the wonderful staff here at TAP SAC. I drove an hour and a half one way to get here and they made sure my cuts were available on time
And on the same day. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Thank you to everyone- from the front desk to the back of house- for being so kind and genuine. These aren’t “sales people” and they never pressure you but trust me you’ll understand why they believe so much in these products because they are AWESOME. I never do reviews but y’all these people are beyond awesome. Also- lost my keys while searching through the scrap pile they have for sale- don’t miss out on that part of the store! Best kept secret in laser world

Also, I can’t even fathom the fact that someone would ever give these people less than five stars- they are so happy to work as hard as needed during a pandemic and are still beyond willing to go above and beyond even if you ask a lot of them. (I truly have no affiliation to this company and just had such a wonderful experience from my first phone call to my first experience in the shop)... they deserve high fives and so much more!

I placed 2 orders in the last couple weeks. They took the time to work with me on what the best material was for what I was doing. There was a mistake in one of the cuts but Andrew took care of me and made it right. I am a happy Tap customer.
