My name is Atenas Zavala,
Eternal life church has been my home church for the last four years. My friend Irma invited me to one of the church’s events and I immediately felt the presence of God, Never left since then.
Pastor Arias gave my husband and I pre-marriage counseling (bible base) and continued with us after one year of being married. Pastor Arias and all the community in Eternal life church are very friendly and welcoming but most importantly the presence of God is in this place. I came to this church with a broken heart and abandonment issues but Jesus Christ restored my heart and called me to be his daughter. Now I live a life full of joy, freedom and love. Now my husband, my sister and I are serving the Lord, I’am one of the leaders of the dance ministry- so if you see me dancing and crying at the same time don’t mind me I’m just thanking God for what he has done in my life. Thank you eternal life church you have been a blessing to me and my family.

There’s such a welcoming atmosphere and the members are so kind and friendly! ELC throws amazing fellowship events and strives to get new members to feel comfortable at this church. My aunt invited me there when I stayed with them over the summer a couple years ago. I went to their young people group for around 2 months. At first, they were very nice to me and seemed friendly. But surely after the 1st month or so, they began acting very weird and manipulative while still acting "friendly".

On one occasion, one of their leaders told me I couldn't have a true relationship with god until I stopped wearing jeans, makeup, jewelry and was baptized (ONLY) in a "apostolic" church, like theirs. That's literally what he said to me.

After I heard that nonsense with my own ears, I decided to never set foot in there again.

They had my aunt brainwashed there for many years. She told me she'd donate money as part of the offerings to help pay the church's building mortgage, for several years. Yet they were later informed in church meetings that the building's mortgage payments were far behind. My aunt said, they began asking her personal questions about her life and her job earnings. And they kept demanding her to go the extra mile in contributing (financially) into "God's kingdom".

This is one of the many reasons my aunt decided to leave. She said this church spent so much money in throwing big events, while they remained in financial debt. Most of the people's hard earned money was used to throw countless big events and also the pastor's family pocket.

Long story short, this church if full of big time scammers/manipulators who will always be in DENIAL.

They control, rob and brainwash their followers. And worst of all, they do all of this "in the name of Jesus"

Isn't that called blasphemy?

Anyways, I'm glad my aunt left this cult-like CIRCUS they call "eternal life church".
