We visited this place to have coffee with my husband. We liked it. We ordered a croissant and a cappuccino. The atmosphere was wonderful. We sat outside, and it was very pleasant. There were a lot of people, so keep in mind that if you come, you might not find a place to sit.

Tall ceilings, good lighting and open/long bar concept. Great and friendly service. There is also long table seating down the middle and side of the shop, where customers will weave around you to get to the check out when it's busier. If that doesn't bother you if you came here for work/projects you're working on, it's a cool environment for coffee and a pastry. The only reason for 4 stars for atmosphere is the noise/congestion (bring your Loops for work).

Fun flavors for fall!

Both coffee and pastey are delicious and you can taste the difference from chains.
Has indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a bar at the end of ordering where you can add simple syrup, top with cinnamon or other spices before heading out.

My first time down in Davis and randomly picked out this cafe and I was pleasantly surprised! I got a honey matcha latte and my friend got a vanilla latte and they were both just so yummy! No complaints, I highly recommend as the customer service is also great; they’re such nice people.

My favorite café in Davis! They're all over Sacramento but I live in Vacaville and it's the closest branch. The staff are so friendly, their seasonal drinks are a must-have! Great for studying and catching up with friends. If you need back support sitting down, def take the outside sitting. Also, weekends are always packed 1000-1400, weekdays are better if you want peace and quiet study session but still enjoy that café mood. Photos taken on a Wednesday morning (10ish).

This place was great! Free WiFi, able to do work here. Lots of yummy vegan pastries which was awesome. Beyond that, not much food. The coffee was good. Great atmosphere with mostly jazz music. Would be nice to have some chairs with backs to be able to relax - all stools. Lots of places to sit & look out the windows. I’d come back ?

Temple Coffee is a gem among Davis coffee shops.

Their classic menu differentiates them from the syrup loaded menus in other Davis coffee shops- coffee is the star here. One of my favorite treats is pairing walnut fudge from Candy House of Davis with Temple’s espresso.

I mostly buys beans and have really come to appreciate their lighter roasts. Their Festivity Blend is by far my favorite, and I wish it wasn’t seasonal. The cranberry jam notes are spot-on and make me so excited for my midday pour over. As the beans age, I find the nuttier notes emerge. Speaking of age, their beans are always fresh. Even in the local Nugget grocery, their beans have a fairly recent roasted on date, and I very much respect them for using a “roasted-on” date instead of a “best-by” date.

The Davis location has a Scandinavian feel with big open windows and plenty of seating make it a perfect spot to study or simply enjoy the rain.

The staff deserve a special shoutout. They’re very helpful. One employee, an Asian barista, guided me in picking out the perfect beans for my partners mother. I genuinely hope the staff are paid fairly because they contribute so much to the experience.

I LOVED THIS PLACE! They have such cute seating inside. Just pull out your laptop and work or read in front of the window! We came here during the fall and saw their seasonal menu so I had to try something on it. I tried their fireside espresso tonic and it tasted rather interesting. It's a bit of a sophisticated and very particular drink so if you're not up for it, I would recommend other drinks (believe me you cannot go wrong with anything). I myself liked the espresso tonic but feel like it would be ewiser to have it in the afternoon since it's more of a coctail-ish coffee. But overall, their coffee is good and there are many different blends you can try. They also had cookies and some goodies on the fridge but I did not try any of them. However, I heard that they were good!!

True coffee lovers experience. Just tried the Cold brew orange cream. This is a nice afternoon beverage. The orange essence is evident with the first sip, but not over powering or artificial. This is a easy to drink experience with a more desert appeal. Great for a refreshing drink on a warm afternoon. Temple offers true to the origin coffees with their direct contact with small coffee growers who care about the Earth and the plants they grow.
