I have consistently experienced poor customer service at this location. The staff have been consistently rude and unhelpful, making my shopping experiences unpleasant. On multiple occasions, their aggressive behavior has prevented me from completing my purchases.

In a recent incident at the self-checkout, an older Asian woman employee was extremely rude. Instead of assisting me with the checkout process, she grabbed my cart containing my purse and phone and ran across the store, despite my protests and insistence that she not take my belongings. This incident was particularly distressing and unacceptable.

The staff here are incredibly rude and unhelpful. I went in to grab a few things for breakfast but couldn’t find an item. This was my first time coming to this store so I looked for an employee for guidance and there was none around. When I finally got what I needed and headed to the self checkout the old Asian lady there was so rude, she grabbed my receipt from my hands and looked it over like 3 times before I could leave the store. I’ve never had someone do that. Don’t come here.

The staff there are incredibly helpful and genuinely nice. The store is well maintained, however the isles are pretty narrow. It's difficult to pass two carts by one another. It's worth the trip.

This grocery store is awesome. The produce selection is always fresh and yummy - I find myself driving here from woodland because I can rely on the produce! The customer service is also exemplary, the staff are always kind. Once my toddler opened her water bottle and spilled water everywhere. A friendly staff member immediately walked over and helped me clean up, and was so kind and gracious. That makes all the difference in a stressful situation!

they scam you they always have "sale" prices that when you scan don't apply and you have to ask them to apply it or it's not showing up. If you don't have the time or energy to check to make sure the prices advertised are being applied don't bother coming here. Also they have bad storing conditions i once got bad milk and bad chocolate separate times

The freezer aisle reeks a fishy smell where they don't even sell fish. It's a really old supermarket to be honest but they have a lot of good items for fair prices. Sometimes they have items here that Safeway doesn't have so that gives this place an edge. The employees here are super nice and friendly compared to the North Safeway down the block though so it's always a good feeling talking to the cashiers. There's less people here so there's not as many long lines.

Totally underrated.

My in laws shy away from this place because they think nugget is the only place to get fresh food.

I honestly have loved shopping here during the pandemic, I find the food fresh and the variety or keto, vegan and vegetarian options excellent.

But more over it’s generally a quiet peaceful shopping experience.

They also do have beautiful house plants on occasion!

What I wanted to give them the biggest props for was the fact they’re the only supermarket I’ve seen in davis that is still cleaning the self service check outs in between guests. I was pleasantly surprised when a staff member jumped in to clean before I walked up. As far as Covid safe shopping this has become my favorite spot. The staff are always masked and I don’t believe I’ve seen any masks on chins here! - perhaps I’ve been lucky but it’s my honest experience (:
