I took the flight to Oakland which was very picturesque. Great flight and pleasant staff. Will not hesitate to fly Contour Airlines again.

I am so grateful for the entire airport staff for making my trip to Oakland with my little dog an easy one. I got him to a neurologist finally! Your kindness towards us will stay in my heart forever.

Great and convenient. Very nice new building, easy to park, easy to go in, easy to navigate since there is only one airline. Continental is super awesome, we only had the best experience with them! We are hoping that they will bring back the additional flights that they had before Covid. Overall 5 stars to the airport and the airline as well!

The people at Contour Airlines are liars, that's all there is to it. For example, as late as 7:25 this morning, they maintained that their flight was departing at 7:20, in spite of the fact that the plane they were going to fly was still on the ground in Oakland. When I called them out on this fact, they updated the departure time to 9:50 but said that it was not guaranteed.

So many people were stressed and unhappy about missing their connections.

This happens all the time with Contour. I've seen lots of vacations wrecked because of this mendacity.

If you decide to fly Contour, take my advice and go a day earlier if you are making connections. Otherwise they can destroy your whole itinerary.

I'm not one to complain, but . . . due to a broken bucket lift, the Crescent City Contour ground crew was unable to "de-ice" the morning frost on the plane, so we had to wait 3 hours for the sun to melt it. As a result, I missed my connection to Phoenix on Spirit Airlines who, unfortunately, did not have another flight that day leaving from Oakland. I had to spend an additional $228 on a Southwest one-way ticket to get to Phoenix that afternoon. I called Contour customer service when I returned (it took 2.5 hours to get hold of them). Even though it was their faulty equipment that caused my extra expense, their policy is not to reimburse customers in this situation. From now on, I'll drive to the Arcata or Medford airports to avoid flying on Contour.

I flew this airline many times and had only good to say about them however….last year I was moving out of state with two cats so I took months preparing, almost on a first name basis with TSA so that all would go smoothly. Well it didn’t. The day finally arrived to make the move. I was exhausted from packing for weeks and then getting the movers and all that goes with that finalized. So far so good. Until—-the airport. We arrived on time, cats secure in their carriers, trying to be considerate, we stayed at the back of the line so that others could get on the plane without waiting for us. When it was our turn, our tickets would’t scan. We clearly had tickets, even showed them another copy of them on my laptop. The TSA person motioned to the young woman who was at the gate to let her know that we needed a printed ticket. What was her reply? “The ticket counter is closed”. She said it twice as if she was proud of it. This was the same woman who was at the ticket counter just minutes before (by the way is just a few feet away). She refused to get us printed tickets. Of course by this time, I’m panicked because my car is in the parking lot ready to be picked up for the move. I was’t being a Karen but rightfully I was upset and kept asking why won’t she print us a ticket. At that point, we were told, that we were not allowed to board the plane. I won’t even tell you the the absolute nightmare that ensued after this but it took us over 24 hours to get to our destination instead of three hours, mind you with two cats. All because one little gal refused to print a ticket for us. I was moving from the area so I won’t ever be using this airline again but if I wasn’t, I would drive to Medford or Arcata before I would ever fly with them again after this incident.

A word to the wise, when traveling through Crescent City…print your ticket because if there’s a glitch, you’re not getting on the plane if Miss “the ticket counter is closed” is there.

Life would be so much better if every airport were as simple as this one. Clean, friendly, efficient.
