I met Alex, the owner of A Rod Construction, when he and his team were doing comprehensive repairs to my next-door neighbor's home, in preparation for sale. This was a very challengng project and the results looked excellent. The realtor overseeing this project unhesitatingly recommended A Rod Construction, so I contacted Alex to change out my old water heater. His workers were very efficient and friendly and did a very good job of trouble shooting and cleaning up after the install of the new water heater. I have since then engaged A Rod to do a custom paint job on my home. I look forward with confidence to the same excellent results.

Alex was great! He called me back immediately, and was very friendly and professional, asked me the pertinent questions, sent him pictures, gave me a very reasonable estimate a couple hours later (replacing a door including frame with a slightly larger door and frame), and ultimately scheduled the work 2 days later! They knocked it out beautifully despite some unexpected elements that are common with old houses, and even ended up fixing a bedroom door that had issues, and stuck to his word with the quote...gave him a tip for being awesome...he's now my "guy"! I highly recommend A Rod Construction!!

A-rod construction was great. They did a great job taking care of some dry rot issues and did a great job with painting our house. They cleaned up after every day of work better than they found it. Alex really knows construction and is really good at letting you know what should be done and how he is going to do it.

Alex is a very great handyman. He is very punctual and professional. He came out early and got right to work. He helped me replaced my kitchen recessed light and smoke detector which is hard wired. He also corrected a mistake that a previous handyman had made with my side fence. He also cleaned out my roof gutters and gave me valuable advice. He showed me the before and after pictures. His price is fair. It is very hard to find people this honest and with this much integrity these day. He really cares about his work and craftsmanship. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a handyman. I plan on hiring him in the future for all of my handyman needs. I can not say enough great things about him!
