My siblings and I wanted to surprise our parents with a meaningful gift this year. We decided to put our home videos on a hard drive for them. Little did I know how incredible of a gift this would be for the entire family. Thanks to Audio Video Workshop for helping us preserve our childhood memories. My family deeply felt such a connection to the past with the clear pictures and audible sounds that were transferred over with such care. Scott is so kind and makes sure tapes are returned as they were originally with new organized files on a hard drive to share with the entire family. It’s the best gift we’ve ever gotten and given to all our loved ones. Wish I had done it sooner but so grateful to have it now. Five stars for this wonderful company!

AV Workshop did a wonderful job- I called Scott to ask questions and go over details before I mailed off my film to him, since I was pretty nervous about doing so, and he walked me through it no problem. My footage was a single 8mm reel, specific contents unknown, that had been sitting in a metal Lipton's Tea container for probably close to a century. I wrote this thank you note to Scott: I received my flash drive and the returned reel of 8mm old family film of Lake Tahoe yesterday. Thank you SO much! You did a great job and I also appreciate how quickly you got it back to me. It will be treasured by my family. (Never saw my grandmother smile or laugh before! And take a drag off a cigarette! Never knew that my dad was so sinewy and outdoorsy as a youth!). It also provides unique, valuable footage that will be incorporated into a video celebrating our Tahoe community's Centennial this summer. So thanks again, just wanted to let you know how meaningful your work is.

Forever thankful to Audio Video Workshop. I had a 8MM film that my father gave me years ago, I never had the opportunity to see what was inside since I didn't have the projecting equipment. Workshop converted it to MP4 and it was footage of my mother taking us to the beach in Hong Kong back in 1979. My mother was young and beautiful then, I am glad I was able to share this video with her now that she is 70 years old. Please know that you are providing a valuable service to the community. I currently work professionally in digital video production, but in the early 1970s I shot a lot of 16mm film. I have many cans and boxes of raw footage, A and B rolls, and test and answer prints from that time through the early 1980s. In late 2023 I took a few reels to Scott and asked him to do some 2K transfers. Each frame was digitized into its own raw TIFF file (all sequentially numbered). Scott cleaned the footage before digitizing it, and did a great job, turning it around quickly even in the crazy season between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Scott charged a fair price for the job. I'm appreciative of his work, recommend him to anyone wanting a professional transfer, and will be back for more transfers next year. Robert Edgar.

AV Workshop is amazing - Scott is friendly, and has a ton of experience and the technology to treat your media with care. The company provides excellent Photo, Slide, 8 or 16 mm Video Transfer Service and more! We had my Dad's old 8 and 16 mm films from the 50's transferred to digital, and he cleaned up and transferred everything quickly and brilliantly. Highly recommend.

I've trusted our family's most treasured 8mm video reels to AV Workshop, and they have done everything possible to preserve what time in the attic didn't erode. I recently brought them 4 very old VHS tapes, and they said it would take them 3 to 4 weeks. The tapes were done in 4 days! I like using their services. Professional, trustworthy.
