These reviews concerned me but I had a very pleasant experience! I was a walk in so of course there was a wait which is to be expected. This location receives a high volume of people so it’s important to be patient! The staff who helped me were friendly and efficient. I will definitely be going back for all my passport needs.

Just left the passport services and YOU NEED AN APPOINTMENT (except for Saturdays but you will be there all day) first off I went to van nuys pass port center and was there all day for the line not to move im suggesting to please make an appointment. I went in to Castaic passport center and unfortunately did not have an appointment but mark was so kind to me and helped me out in about 20 minutes. Very nice people but please have an appointment and be patient. Thank you Mark for all your help. Very good guy!

Horrible. Went there on Tuesday 03/04/2025 for a passport renewal. The old Asian guy allegedly checking people in at his desk was too busy ordering lunch with the black woman supposedly running the package mailing desk. The only person I saw working was a young man assisting a family.
Now, this was a passport renewal, nothing fancy. Because of this, there are no appointments necessary for the renewal, but instead of any kind of greeting, I got a piece of paper shoved my way with instructions on how to make an appointment for A SERVICE THAT WAS UNNECESSARY due to the nature of the service….which, you would have known if you would have asked me if I needed anything instead of taking company time and resources looking up your lunch.
No wonder this post office is empty. The one in Santa Clarita may always have a line, but at least the employees there treat you like human beings and not like an annoyance needing to be dealt with.

**I do want to add, the black woman was far more helpful than anyone in the building. She at least handed me the forms I need and wrote down what to insert into the envelope.

These reviews absolutely baffle me. The guy I got for the fingerprints was the most rude, disrespectful, unhelpful person I've ever dealt with. The simplest of questions got replies of sight, face palms, and walking away. I'm still completely shocked at what just happened.

I went to renew my passport to Castaic Passport Center, I visited that place for the first time and I didn't know that I have to make an appointment online, first I went to the Palmdale Post Office to do it like I did it 10 years ago and for my surprise, they don't do it anymore and that's why they told me to go to Santa Clarita, so I went, all the personnel at Castaic were very nice,polite and very professional, even so I didn't have any appt., the associate helped me out with the application, he stapled the pic and since there's a post office in the same facility, I bought a money order and were able to send it by mail since I didn't have an appt. But I was happy for all the help that I received from the Castaic Passport Center personnel, I really appreciated, thanks so much but for all of you who reading my review, please make an appointment first to avoid a long trip that I did from the A.V. to Santa Clarita 🙂👍

Easy place to find, plenty of parking but make sure to come early due to the crowds.

I definitely recommend this office. I originally had 2 appointments that I went to in the oxnard office and I had a horrible experience. After the second appointment I did not want to even go back to that one so I made an appointment here even though it was a further drive but it was worth it. From the moment I walked in the staff was helpful and a way better attitude then the oxnard office. Mark is the one who helped me with my application. He made the process so quick and easy. He's the best. This will be the office I will be going to from now on and I will be sending my family and friends there too.
