It is very obvious the workers at this location hate their job. The security officer was the only one who made us feel welcome. The first clerk that we went to on window 4 acted as if we worked with her, expecting us to know that we not only had to do an online marriage application but also a physical form at the office. That is totally fine, my hands aren't broken but there is no need to be rude and speak to us in a condescending tone. We asked to be placed with a different person which the security guard was graceful enough to do. The next clerk in window 3 also had an attitude and threw my fiancé's card at him but at least he wasn't as rude at the first one and as time progressed he became more understanding and patient. The only thing that is clear is that both of these clerks seemed irritated that they had to do their job.

If you need the Alameda county clerk’s services, you no longer need to go to Oakland. The Dublin office is well located, plenty of parking, and the staff is friendly. No long waiting period. I submitted my notary oath and the whole process took less than 15 minutes.

I had to get a death certificate so I stopped in to the recorders office at 11:55. They are closed from 12 to 1 for lunch but they took the time to help me get what I needed and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes! No lines here and all the staff are super kind and helpful.

Staff is extremely polite and professional. Went there for my daughter's birth certificate. I was in and out within 10 minutes with copies of the birth certificate in hand. Excellent and speedy service.
