Previous customer with old water softener and Big Blue carbon filter - worked for over 20 years. When we wanted to replace obviously we reached back out to Culligan Fairfield. Sales person Juan was just OK. He gave me a lined paper chicken scratch quote but no brochure or specifics on exactly what was included. Paperwork came a few days later, which I filled out online to book the installation. Nothing happened for over 3 weeks - was told scheduling would be in 3 day window. Honestly thought they'd forgot me and I'd go elsewhere. But 3 calls later, spoke to Mike who authorized a small discount and scheduled a few days later. Came to install but tech said I didn't get the carbon filter, only the softener. Poor communication, poor scheduling and lack of details on paperwork - luckily we figured this out before installing! I'm done with the run around and chaos. I believe Costco has a version - will try them!

Never using Culligan again.
1) They are the worst at answering phone calls. I’ve left voice messages several times and they would never call me back.
2) Their delivery notifications got really bad the last 4 months; I’d either never receive a notification for when I’d receive my next delivery or they wouldn’t leave a voicemail whenever I’d miss their phone calls.
3) Their billing system is a mess. I went to cancel my subscription because I just didn’t like how the service was being provided and returned the bottles myself in person and yet, what I was fearing happened; they charged me a whole bunch of money, more than I usually pay for ā€œunreturnedā€œ bottles! Apparently we have a ā€œcreditā€ in the account which they never used towards our bill either.
We contacted them and finally got to one person from the billing department. This person (Kim) stated to have No Idea about why we’re getting charged extra and apparently there’s NOTHING they can do about it!! The manager (Joe) was not around…. They keep blaming their ā€œNew Systemā€ for all the mess. That’s their excuse, but no solutions!
We Had to escalate this issue to the headquarters and who knows if we’ll get this issue fixed.
Such a headache, such a pain in the rear. Definitely not using culligan ever again.

Installation went ok, we didn’t have soft water for the first month until someone came out and made some adjustments. After that it’s worked well, but you are on your own. I’ve tried calling for various issues, no response. I’ve had missed salt deliveries. No response. Super weird. Happy the system works but, what happens when it doesn’t? No customer support.

Very professional and quality work. Sales was very informative. And believe me, Vacaville has very hard water and the two weeks the we have had the water softener our water has made a difference.

Great water softener system! Some constructive criticism: the salt delivery guy didn't know how to advise me on getting a replacement for a lost part. Front desk woman thought all brine container lids are the same size. Both need more training.

After a few missed deliveries, I canceled service with them. When they came to pick up their empty 21 bottles, they also left the same amount of full bottles after the service was canceled. After I called to have them take back their bottles, they came back and only took 4. I've called 3 times about the same thing in about a 2 week time frame, and still no one has come to pick up their damn bottles. Also, during the time I had service with them, their driver blocked my front door with the full water bottles, instead of placing them where i had left the empty ones on multiple occasions. Look elsewhere for water delivery.

2nd edit: They missed the January 10th appointment they had rescheduled for because of the January 9th missed appointment! No surprises here.

1st edit: Again -- continuing their near-perfect record of missing appointments, they missed another one. No calls, no apologies, just smart-a$$ comments, BS, and excuses.

Worst service of any vendor I've ever done business with. Always late, and the women in the office are always rude and dismissive. BUT-- they're consistent.

Horrible Service!! We had culligan water softener installed almost like 6 months ago. We were told if we pay $26 every month they will come to check and put salt for us so we don’t have to worry and we did enroll in that program but nobody comes not even one single time till now. They are just making money from us but don’t bother to come. I called them but I was told we will check and let you know but nobody calls you back. I regret my decision of getting service from them.
