Dominic and his team pay such close attention to detail, prior to our big day we spent time going through timeline of events to ensure our photographer could get all the shots we wanted. Grace was our photographer for the day and she was on time and so professional, she is extremely personable and fit right in with our friends and family. We received a sneak peek within a week of our wedding and all our photos in less than a month. Grace’s editing is beautiful and we loved the natural light in all our photos, she was so great at giving instructions for posing. Highly recommend Dominic and his team, they were so accommodating with the changes we had to make due to COVID. Quality and genuine customer service!

We rented a party bus from Dominic back in August 2015 for my Fiancé's birthday and could NOT have had a better time! Dominic drove us to Santa Cruz for the night at 8:00 and picked us up around 1:30 to head back to Monterey! The price was very reasonable considering the accommodations we needed. He kept in contact with me through the entire planning process and checked in with me about the detailed a week before the event.

My fiance and I were so happy with our experience in the party bus, that we decided to use their DJ and photography services for our wedding and could not have been happier. The photographer Cole looked over the venue before meeting with us and knew exactly where to take the best photos in Big Sur. Jonathan was awesome in mixing the right music for our reception, calling me a few weeks before to make sure he knew exactly what we were looking for in music genre and mood settings. I completely trusted them to do their job and make my wedding run flawlessly. They did a phenomenal job and we knew we could trust them to make our wedding day all we had wanted and more.

I hired DC Events & Design to shoot my wedding in October 2020. Drew was our photographer and he was absolutely incredible and is very talented! He was timely, directive (as a photographer should be!), light hearted, responsive and flexible. We worked with him for both an engagement shoot and the wedding. We had some issues planning a wedding during a pandemic but Dominic and Drew worked with us to make it happen and the end result will forever be cherished. They were also the most affordable with high quality, especially in a ritzy area like Carmel.

UPDATED REVIEW 12/12/24:
I posted this review here on Google & Yelp 2 weeks ago. Although they responded to my review saying they will get back to us within 2 days, they did not. I reached out last week for an update, and I have gotten no response. We are actually really heartbroken with how insignificant they have made us feel. We want a refund and our raw photos.

ORIGINAL REVIEW POSTED 11/22/24:
Although we had communication before our wedding day, and the photographer and videographer took nice pictures and videos, we are disappointed with the lack of communication and follow up with this company. We emailed 30 days ago regarding our concerns about our pictures, and we still have not received a response. We let them know that we appreciated the beauty of the pictures taken, but we were/are disappointed with the responses and turn around times. We had to follow up weekly after our wedding day (in May) about updates for our pictures. In the email after our wedding day, it stated that we would receive our pictures within a week after our wedding. However, we received the sneak peeks over 4 weeks after our wedding day. In that same email, it stated that we would receive our pictures within 6-8 weeks of our wedding day. We understand that May is part of peak wedding season, but our contract stated that we would receive the pictures within 90 days of our wedding day and we received the full gallery 92 days after our wedding day. The day that we received the full gallery, we asked for re-edits, which were allowed per the contract as long as they were asked within 30 days of receiving the pictures. We only asked for re-edits because the filter/editing used for our teaser/sneak peek pictures for the ceremony pictures/portraits were very different from the final gallery, and we liked the style of the teaser/sneak peek pictures more. When we emailed them our concerns, we stated all of this, and that we asked 61 days ago about re-edits just for the ceremony pictures & portraits. Now, it has been 85 days since we've asked, and still haven't received them even though we were told it would only take a few days. We have been emailing weekly since 1 week after the wedding for updates, and we get the same response of "we have reached out to the editing team to get an update," but then we would not get any updates, hence why we would email weekly to follow up. We are sad that we will probably never get the re-edits of our pictures now.

We booked DC Events for our wedding in Big Sur about a week ago. Dominic was so easy to talk to from the very beginning, and after our first time talking on the phone, we knew that we wanted to go with DC Evens. Vincent was our DJ for our wedding and he did AMAZING. We gave him some general music genre ideas and asked him to just fit the mood, and he did an outstanding job. He kept in close loop with our photographer and caterer during the wedding, making sure everything was on track. We could not have picked a better DJ for our wedding. Thank you so much DC Events!!!

DC Events did a phenomenal job providing DJ services for our wedding in Carmel. From the start Dominic was super responsive, organized and incredibly helpful. Their DJ, Johnathan was perfect. He was great at keeping the crowd lively and played really great songs all night. He was so attentive and I could not have asked for a better experience. If you're considering DJs for your event look no further. You will not regret working with this team!

DC Events and Design were amazing to work with. Dominic, the owner, was always very kind, professional, and understanding through the booking process and when we had to readjust our schedule. Our DJ, Jordan, was also very friendly and easy to work with. Multiple of my guests said it was the best wedding for dancing they had ever been to!
