Great place for a hike. The trails are well kept and it's not too busy.

The parts where there are tons of redwoods is so freaking awesome! Tall a** MFrs. Great tranquil place to meditate on nature.

Once you get to the very top, though, there are no redwoods to cover you from the heat. So take a hat of you go mid morning to noon hours. It could get very hot in the summer.

Please be aware that not all trails are for biking.

Great 45-60 minutes uphill workout on mountain bike. Can rest at the meadow after 15 minutes. Take in the view of the Bay. Can see SF on a clear day. Ride another 30 minutes and get another view. Can see Monterey Bay and enjoy the view of the trail you took to get up there. The top is just another 2 minutes.

Exposed and without shade, so don't visit in summer during the heat of day. Good in winter. There is really only one trail that is accessible. The other two are up in the hills behind Los Gatos and local residents won't let you park there at the trailhead (there is ONE space at one end of Overlook, zero parking elsewhere), or anywhere nearby, so you have to park at the bottom of the hill and walk all the way up. Hike before your hike. Oh wealthy people. The one accessible trail with parking has about five spaces, and it's quite steep with lots of ups and downs.
