I've never felt so engaged, taught and guided as I have been in this church. If you desire TED talks and nonsensical promotional event this is not the church for you. But if you love Christ with every facet of your being and know how wretched you are and in need of a Savior and hunger and thirst for His inerrant Word and the history and events surrounding each verse in order to understand His character more and more...come join in. Every part of the Scripture is intentional and Joe Anady is a great teacher and God Honoring pastor as are the others in headship roles. I've never attended anything like this church... It possesses what Christ's churches are meant to possess... The gospel, obedience, love, discipline, and a family of believers that has accepted someone like me tatted up and weird and welcomes me and my fiance. Every Sunday I feel like I'm working towards my M Div, just in study and that alongside kind and loving others. If you are visiting I'm the tatted blonde in the back come sit with my fiance and me... I bring plenty of pens and highlighters to share!❤️

I attended this church for some months. The pastor, Joe Anady, is indefatigable. I don't know how he manages to get so much done. If you look at the Emmaus webpage, you find so much information about the Bible and the Gospel, that you are overwhelmed by the riches you find there. Pastor Anady is so thorough, that being in the congregation is almost like spending years at seminary. His preaching is expository and solid. The congregation is relaxed and friendly. I do not attend now because I drove alone from a distance, and I have had some health issues, having also had cataract surgery. I now attend a closer church. Emmaus is very highly recommended.

For the second week in a row, our family has attended Emmaus Christian Fellowship. They meet at the Diamond Valley Middle School located on the outskirts of Hemet.

It is a small but local fellowship of people, that are both warm and friendly to visitors as well as each other. The elders are equally inviting, and one would be hard-pressed to be uncomfortable, or feel not welcomed there.

From start to finish, whether in collective song to Him, communing at the Lord's Table, in receiving the message prepared, or in speaking with others after the sermon: the focal-point of this fellowship... is the Glory of God - made manifest to us in Christ Jesus.

I do not know if Emmaus Christian Fellowship will be the local Church-family that will become ours, but we look--with anticipation--towards this season of growth, healing, and learning.

At any rate, for us or anyone else, Emmaus Christian Fellowship is a great place to start.

A church with sound doctrine, a priority on worship, indepth biblical teaching, and genuine caring fellowship. I think this church is the closest to what is described in the book of Acts as any church I have ever seen. I highly recommend it!
