I was overwhelmed with gratitude that Dax made time to open the shop on New Year’s Day 2025 to rent me a very affordable bike (Amtrak had no space for my own bike) for the day, even though it was his first day in months that he had in months after his just completed shop move.

AND, the bike he rented me for visting local gargantuan Bidwell Park and Chico was a Canadian brand Norco, about the most fulfilling bike ride that day that i’ve experienced of my 10’s of 1000’s of miles i’ve biked over 30 years.

AND, he went above & beyond in giving me the lay of the land of Bidwell and Chico right before i launched out.

And he was very kind and informative from start to finish.

Thanks Dax, you salvaged my time in Chico, as i’d learnee of the New Year’s tragedy of my longtime New Orleans home right when i landed there, and you set me up for some of the most wonderful therapeutic therapy i can remember, all on your very well-earned day off.

This is the best overall bike shop experience i can remember in my 30 bike years, i recommnd Greenline with all i’ve got

I took my bike in for a new tube and tire and the service I received was quick, easy and friendly. They did more to my bike than was asked for and it was all at a reasonable price. Took my dual shock stump jumper in for a simple cable repair. They fixed it at a reasonable price did more then what i paid for, and they was fast. Even on a schedule of other customers. I will take my bike back to them again. Thank you greenline.

awful customer service most pretentious mechanic i have ever met

writing about this months later because this still angers me, i am 17 and had a budget bike build with some cheaper parts but everything worked fine and i just needed my fork cut to size as i got a new fork and asked if they had any headset bearings as i had a standard frame and bearings are like 50$ for really good ones. and i was told they would need to take my bike for a few days to then call me back and say how much stuff would cost for it. and he said he would need to order a headset bearing for my bike which he should have some in stock and when i was asking to just have the fork cut down saying id do the rest at my house i simply didn't have the cutting tool he said it would cost 80$ saying its a long process of cutting and sanding and stuff when it is not, you spin a pipe cutter around for 20 seconds then sand for another 20 seconds. many shops would do this for free, but no greenline tried to scam me out of money saying it would cost upwards of 300-400 for a repair i did at home for 20$. also the employee was very rude about my bike saying i had cheap Chinese components and that i should not get into biking if i dont have money for it which is ridiculous, because i had a nice bike just some cheap parts because im a broke 17 year old. worst experience ive ever had left the shop crying because the employee convinced me my bike had a bunch of issues and i needed to spend 100s of dollars and my friend helped me do everything for free only thing was a 20$ headset bearing. no bike shop should have someone go in for the first time and walk out so upset they vow to never go to a bike shop again. the employee was the stuck up short guy with long black hair and baseball cap

I've had two different bikes worked on here. It's been super easy to make appointments and the turnaround time has been quick and they did great work! The staff are so friendly and very knowledgeable. Today they showed me a function of my bike that I didn't know existed! I really appreciate that personal touch!

This bike shop is amazing !! They were super helpful and knowledgeable ! They were able to quickly diagnose our needed repair and supply the parts. However, one past wasn't in stock, they quickly called a nearby shop, found the part, and sent us there. This business has awesome staff, awesome bikes for sale, and excellent repair staff/facility. That they would find a part for us somewhere else shows their PROFESSIONALISM !
