As of May 2023 they do food bags on Tuesday from 9 to 1050 (it says 11 but they put everything up and are done at 11, so I didn't get a food bag today arriving at 1102). Last time I came I got fresh lettuce and tomatoes, several healthy frozen dinners, and lots of pantry staples. They also let you shop their clothes and have kids and adult clothes. You can get a limited number of clothes but it's well organized and super helpful. Staff is ok, some more helpful than others. Some of them don't demonstrate empathy and that's always disappointing.

Hemet Church is a great place to worship God and fellowship with others! They are family oriented and really spend a lot of energy making sure the kids have great clubs to be involved in like Pathfinders and Adventurers. They even dedicate one Sabbath a month to the kids! The first Sabbath of each month the kids and teens are in charge of the Sabbath service! The kids and teens do the scripture reading, the prayers, the special music and sometimes even the sermon will be done by the teens! Hemet Church is really focused on the adult ministries as well. They have a New Believers adult Sabbath school class, a Spanish Sabbath school class, a men's group and a women's class as well! My kids love the Children's Sabbath school classes too! The teachers of each grade are all so dynamic and really help bring God's word to life in a way the kids can understand through the use of crafts, songs and discussion. This church even has a puppet ministry that will perform shows that the kids look forward to! My kids ages 5 and 10 years old beg to go to church every Saturday! My family loves this place and truly feels the love of God every time we enter the Hemet Church's doors.

Attend Sunday Church of the Nazarene. Small but loving and devoted congregation. New pastor, Tony Curtis, is an inspired teacher of the Word.

I showed up yesterday for the food pantry at 10:25 AM. I had never been just read the review.. and all the woman did was point at the empty table and tell me I should have came earlier. There was nowhere to look for clothes for your children, it look like they couldn’t wait to pack up and leave. I will not be going back there again for help ever again. Sad..

While organized religion is still something I am working on, the members of this church are very welcoming. They have outgoing people that great you at the door and remember your name after a few visits. There are a variety of people that attend in varying levels of dress. You will find older folks in full suits and dresses, others dressed in "business casual", and a few others wearing what they slipped on in the morning. (Jeans or shorts) They are not pretentious about your attire, they welcome all who choose to attend.

I grew up in the seventh day adventist community. If you are a shy short male, not one person will speak to you or look you in the eyes. It is one of the most standoffish, uncaring religious communities you can be a part of.

Be warned of the virtue signaling responses. No one in the community will ever speak to you if you go. I've been to seventh day communities for decades, they don't care about young men.
