This place was honestly so amazing! If you’re in the area or just driving through like us, you need to check it out! The mead and ciders are all amazing, and the ambiance and owners are really what make the place so great! They have an awesome story and are super personable. They also are dog friendly, and have the cutest golden retriever! So glad I stopped in and if I’m ever in the area again I’ll come back!

Excellent experience! I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to try something off the State Street experience and I was very impressed with the mead and cider. Austin was very welcoming and took the time to explain their products to me. I have never been a big mead fan as it's typically high ABV and too sweet/viscous for me, but High Seas is turning out a very drinkable mead that I could drink while grilling or hanging out around the house. I bought mead to go and also some merch as it's great quality. I can't wait to come visit again!

Lovely clean open and bright space, fantastic mead and ciders at a very friendly price, and really cool true local owners - what more could you want? We saw they opened on SB Independent and went to check it out. The owners, Austin and Anne, were pouring and were really down to earth. Them and their diversity of solid brews is what led to the review! But.. dog friendly, corn hole, and they’ve been perfecting their product for 3ish (?) years before the tap room opened. Personally, I like that there are no TVs to keep it mellow on Sunday. Go check them out - won’t be disappointed!

Yay first review! First of all - they have a dog named Finley who is super cute and fluffy - that should be enough to get anyone there. But in all seriousness Anne and Austin are super friendly and inviting. Their approach to mead is definitely unique yet delicious! Their cider transports you to a hammock on a beautiful beach. Their meadcolada smells like Caprisun and tastes like a pineapple dipped in honey with a touch of what all adults like - alcohol. If you stumble across this review it's a sign to go there ee-MEAD-ately (;
