I initially selected a Fusion 2 Table saw and placed the order in my cart. I had an issue with Laguna accepting a valid CC payment. I contacted their custome service to assist me. No response. I checked the following day and the saw was no longer available. Two Fusion 1 saws were available so I placed the boxed saw option in my cart but had the same issue with Laguna accepting payment. I received contact for my customer service rep and a service number. The number I was given was no longer in service. I checked my order and the boxed option was no longer available - sold. From the other complaints I’ve read I’m going to pay the extra $ and order through Rockler.

I recently purchased a LAGUNA 14BX BANDSAW 220V.

The manufacturing assembly SUCKED and the manual is rediculous. In the end the actual product is a 5 STAR product and works exceptionally well however I needed to reassemble the top main roter and realign the bottom Rotor. but the setup from the factory was absolutely Terrible. I purchased a Laguna 3/4 inch rip blade and could barely attach it to the rotors with all tensionning to the minimum. After an hour of frustraction I realized the assembly was not centred and in the maximum position. There is no way the folks at Laguna manufacturing assembly attempted to put a band on this tool. It's a good thing I have every mechanical too imagniable as I needed to get some special wrenches to reassemble the wheels in the right spot. I then needed to do some YouTube research on how to align the bottom rotor as it kept sliding off the front of the bottom rotor. It was easy enough to centre and once calibration was complete it operated exceptionally well. The other thing that was a dissapointmennt was the Fence. It had razor sharp edges, wasn't de-berred. I had to take some 120 grit sand paper and sand all the edges after having received over 4-5 cuts from accidentally touching it during my calibration journey. Lastly, the magnetic tentionning guage is but an indicator and the user needs to reposition it every time you put on a new blade. The manual was absolutely terrible... they spent time explaining what a bandsaw is, yet give no details on assembly of the saw. Also, the fence assembly was somewhat out of 90 degree perpendicular to the table and the ability to recalibrate that is very poor. I ended up having to put a piece of tape as a shim to account for approximately 1/2 degree. In the end, the saw works fantasticly and now having gone through this journey, I know how to centre the saw to work perfectly. ... Buyer beware! ... I still am very pleased with the purchase.

I absolutely love my Laguna CNC—it’s been a great machine for years, and I even considered purchasing a second one. However, their customer support is the reason I won’t be making that purchase.

When you need support, their system is a mess. My machine has been down for three weeks, and despite having two separate support tickets, I can’t get a callback. The first ticket took me four days and multiple calls—eventually through their sales team—just to get a response. We finally resolved that issue and ordered an expensive replacement part, only to have the exact same error occur.

Now, I’ve been waiting another eight days for a response to the second ticket—with no callback.

Bottom line: Great machine, terrible support. If you can source parts elsewhere, it might still be worth it. But if you rely on manufacturer parts and need quick resolutions, prepare for major downtime and frustration.

I own the 1216 lathe. This is an outstanding machine. I still need to express grave concerns with the fact that Laguna Tools broke all international norms on the colors of their switches. Like many of Laguna machines the 1216 lathe on/off switch is White/Black. Then the spindle lock button is RED. I have never seen a modern machine where the ON/OFF switch was not Green/Red. Then to make the spindle lock button RED only compounds the problem. Laguna Tools did supply me with a replacement switch that is Green/Red. For that I am grateful. I have placed a BLUE button over the RED spindle lock button. HEY LAGUNA! Do you read these ratings? What could possibly be your reasoning?

I bought the 5 hp laguna dust collector about $6k. since day one the dust bin has been a joke and the auto fill sensor never worked. Now the Dust Collector wont turn on. I have been waiting 168 hours to hear back for my ticket, have called 4 times and they will NEVER give me a time estimate, but told me it should take 24 to 48 hours to hear back...

My CNC business has been down for a week now. NEVER buy any equipment from Laguna. Their CNC machines are trash by the way, glad I didn't get one of those.

At this point i am going to void whatever warranty I have and install my own motor starter.

Laguna Tools has a D minus rating with the Better Business Bureau. Good tools, but HORRIBLE customer service. Mention warranty work and they ghost you. Do not buy Laguna Tools!

SCAMMERS! Bought a machine from them not even a year ago. Specifically told John, their salesman, what I will be cutting and asked if it’s covered under warranty and he reassured me that it is and also recommended a third party fan to help insure that which did nothing at all and later states that he recommended it for sound when that was never an issue. When I run into an issue they now state it’s not covered and no where in their warranty does it state what not to cut on. Steve, the store manager does not answer his phone calls at all and I have to go multiple times to the location to handle anything. They were so friendly when it came to selling us the machine, but very terrible when it comes to helping you out after.

One star for customer service, 4 stars for equipment. Don't misunderstand, their people in customer service are great. Laguna makes it difficult to get a hold of them. As far as I can tell now, I have to call to actually get a hold of customer service. I sure can't find an email or chat link.

I have purchased two major pieces of equipment from Laguna (20" planer and Flux 3 dust collector) and a few small add ons so far. Two came without parts. One was missing only a few screws I got from a box store. The other took Laguna 6 months to replace (a gauge on the planer). The machine operated without it but it was obviously shipped without any concern for an obviously missing piece. I ordered a bandsaw blade a month ago. Got a confirmation email but it has not shown up. Went to check on the order and now their site says they have no such order.

We have an awesome Laguna dealer here in Anchorage so I have purchased Laguna equipment because of them but I think I am done dealing with Laguna. I feel like their engineers are on it but their commitment to customers is less than stellar. 3 out of 5 purchases having issues is a bad track record.
