I came to Ling’s in July, 2024. She altered a dress for me for my son’s wedding. She was so patient and friendly, and did an excellent job! She had wonderful input and suggestions on what would look best. Fast turnaround too. We had great conversations, she’s a lovely person and great seamstress!

On Thursday 08/29/2024 i went to the shop I wanted to add sleeves to a dress like the picture (the white ones ) I show the lady the picture as reference and brought my own fabric, when I walk in she was nice I told her what I want and how I wanted she told me she got it and mesures me I tried my dress on she she showed me I agree with her because to be honest I don’t even know how to sew and she was the “expert” at the end of everything she told me it would be $70 i thought to my self it was expensive but it didn’t matter because I have a wedding and need the dress the dress was from SHEIN $45 I got my receipt and went home yesterday 09/05/2024 I went and picked up the dress and I see the dress i could tell it was not what I ask for I tried the dress on to see if already on would be fine i didn’t like it so I told her this is not what I ask for and she started calling me crazy that she did what I ask her first of all calling a customer CRAZY? I let it go because I really need the dress so I told her I want her to fix it and show her the picture again and she made me feel like I was dumb because she told me that I can’t guide me by a picture on the internet, I was like okay you tell me how can we make this work so she told me she will do it all over again but I have to pay again I told her I can’t pay you again you already charge me for it and she start saying it was my fault and I was the one who gave her the measurements which is not true how could I and she took my receipt and said I was the one who write the measurements down, and then she got the scissors and cut the sleeves off and told me to come back another day for my money and to go and find another place she was so rude and blame her job on me all the time I told her I need my money back I’m not going anywhere with out my money finally she gave me my money back and I left, now thanks to her I don’t have a dress for the wedding :,( and had such a bad experience at her shop I also add the sleeves she made on the picture below (the mint green ones) do you think that is at least similar to what I ask for? Or do you think that even worth $70 ? I can’t give 0 stars so I’m going to give 1 she talk to the cámara all the time at her shop saying it was her if you want to add the clips and show how our interaction was please do that I want people to see how the things really happen.

Update: didn’t go to the wedding because I couldn’t get it fix on time thanks Lings 🙂

I went to her two days before my wedding to get my wedding dress done because David's bridal messed up my dress order. She did a wonderful job and in such a short amount of time.
