A good portion of the walnuts have a strange flavor. I hope it isn't because they use contaminated water (oil fracking/drilling water) to irrigate their trees. I am investing this company and had better not find out they are doing this.

one star because zero is not available. i recently bought their 12oz walnuts for the first time. it will be the last time. they are nasty tasting & i am returning them. i usually buy Fisher but the store was out.

Mariani Almonds bought at Costco are full of skins..this is one bite full. It is disgusting!! I eat them in Yogurt with granola and at first I thought it was the granola...I stopped using the granola and realized it was the almonds. There are so many skins in these that you can't chew them they stick in your mouth. YUCK!! Won't ever buy these again.

I had a subscription with them for dried fruits. All orders were delayed, I was getting emails saying that if I wanted to keep the orders as-is, I had nothing to do but they end up canceling the order without contacting me to let me know in advance. Then I have to call many times to get my money back. It is still not solved.
I did not have a single order going through smoothly. Something is always off and they find endless excuses to not refund me when they cancel my orders. I think it is a company to avoid by all means. I think it is just possible to trust them.

This is my first visit to Mariani Nut Company and I have to say it was one of the more pleasurable places I've had to load. They were quick about getting we checked in and quick about getting me loaded and out. They were very accommodating as far as allowing me to clean out my trailer on their facility so long as I threw the garbage in the receptacles and as long as you have your information correct you will have no problems. Again, very awesome people, very nice to be associated with a company such as Mariani's.
