Travis and Caitlin were amazing. They were compassionate, extremely accommodating upfront with all the options and available resources when we needed it the most! They went above and beyond from beginning to burial, they rescheduled, and even extended the winter availability for out of town arrivals. We all appreciated their guidance and support during a very difficult time. Thank you for having one of the difficult positions and making the experience possible.

From the beginning , Kim and Travis never pushed to make arrangements. They gave me the space and time to face the very difficult steps needed until I could face them.

Caitlin is excellent at what tools are needed to get life into a new normal.

I’ve dealt with other mortuaries but never have been shown such compassion and care.

Very Professional & polite. Kept me informed of the progress of getting the cause of death from the coroner's office from a different county than where we are located. Had the remains transported here so everything could be handled in one location.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They are dishonest and unethical schemers who will take as much money from you as they can get away with. I had to contact them about my mother’s body because they serve as a city morgue and have a contract with the hospital and the city to hold the bodies at their facility. As soon as I called, they started quoting me high prices for their services and tried to get me locked into a contract with them. I told them that I’d be considering all my options first and would get back them. The lady on the phone could not answer my questions with any certainty and could not break down her pricing or even explain the process. I ended up going with a different company that turned out to be AWESOME (Adams Affordable Cremation & Burial) because their pricing and service was so much better.
As soon as my chosen company took my mother’s body from Mt. Shasta Memorial’s “care”, I received a call from their receptionist asking me to pay them for a body pick up from the hospital: OVER $500 for a service that they are already contracted to do with the city and the hospital!!!DOUBLE DIPPING MUCH?! I had NO contract with them, NO agreements or ANY invoices. THEY THREATENED TO SEND ME TO COLLECTIONS, THEREBY RUINING MY CREDIT! After I told them that they have no standing, THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WILL TAKE ME TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT OVER THIS!!! After this conversation, I received a vague letter filled with untrue statements that asked me for an unspecified amount of money (again, I had no contract/invoice bc I never agreed to do business with them). I replied with a certified letter with the CA statutes on conducting business which they seem to be breaking. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THEIR POSITION AND CONTRACT WITH THE CITY!!

The staff at Mount Shasta Memorial were so kind and considerate and helpful. At the worst time in a person's life they were a light in a dark place. They even followed up later to see how it was going. I highly recommend them for all your burial needs.

15 months ago my father passed away and we ordered a headstone to be set at his grave site. We were expected to pay immediately .I understand that they need their money so they can guarantee that it's taken care of but we have gotten the worst customer service from this company and we are still waiting.
