Season ticket holder for 4 years. The last few years have been amazing. If you time a cold storm you can get world class conditions. Grey butte lift has been a game changer. My kids have all learned here and we've had amazing family time together. One of the last family ski mtns out there.

Mt Shasta Ski Park is lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience here with friends! The mountain is moderately easy and the lines are quick even on a full day. The runs are not as challenging as some Ski Parks however it has a wonderful atmosphere, gorgeous views, and remember it is an active volcano!!! You bet I'll be returning... 🫶🏼

Spectacular privately run attraction. Well worth the narrow road to get there.
First rate guides, cave formations you won't see elsewhere.

I learned to ski here years ago, before they added the Coyote lift. Today I brought my son for his first lesson. It's a great park for what it is. Not as big or as nice as many Tahoe parks, but much more affordable and less crowded. All of the staff is friendly and helpful. Most of the rental gear is in good condition. The ski school has great instructors, and has a fantastic 5:1 student-to-instructor ratio. This was my first time coming since they added Gray, and I missed the memo that it requires hiking in both directions. That was certainly a surprise. It's not worth heading to Gray unless you have a couple hours to dedicate to it. I'm surprised they didn't put Gray on the front side where you could see it and get access from Coyote, but I'm sure they had good reasons for doing so. What holds Shasta back is their lifts: they are old and slow and (except Gray) don't have safety bars. It seems like, instead of adding Gray, they could have modernized their resort, spent less money, and ended up with a better park overall. But, I heard that Gray was a goal of the former owner, and I guess adding a butte to a ski park sounds more impressive than saying you made it better and safer. Just my speculation, and I'm sure the more advanced skiers and snowboarders would disagree. It's not a perfect park, but all factors considered, I think it's one of the best parks in the state.

For 40 years, I’ve been coming up to ski and board at Mt Shasta Ski Park. Always a good time and good service. But today I was up there to photograph a young lady’s senior portrait! So gorgeous with all the snow on the branches. Can’t wait to deliver!

Good mix of beginner and intermediate runs. For beginners, they allow the magic carpet. Otherwise the Marmot triple lift is a big jump for beginners from carpet to a trail. Some corners in the downhill from marmot ridge are not beginner friendly especially the elbow at the winton way. If you are an absolute novice, learning skiing here needs a bit of courage or spending some effort in walking down the intimidating slopes. Kid took lessons and the guides were very friendly. The ski lift does not have a safety bar. I found the staff friendly. If you are from the Bay area, it is definitely worth an extra 3 hour drive than going to crowded Tahoe ski resorts on a good weather day.

Food is okay. Parking is adequate.

Pretty good place, but unfortunately the snow tubing was only for above 5 y.o. Hopefully they allow double ride kid with the parent in the future
