Best winery we visited during our Healdsburg trip. John S. was so knowledgeable and brought so much excitement to my first wine tasting. It’s not on the menu but ask for the chilled red wine it’s amazing

This is a beautiful vineyard with a very pretty outside patio overlooking the fountain and vines. Unfortunately, it was rainy and cold on our visit on the Wine Road barrel tasting weekend.

They have tasty Chardonnay and Zins. We left with a handful of bottles and shipped a case of their Poizon zin that was on sale.

After having visited Overshine twice now I can say this is the most pleasant and fun wine tasting experience in the area. Our host, Jon, was an absolute delight! Very knowledgeable about the wines, but more importantly a genuinely fun individual who made our experience feel like we were home enjoying some fantastic wine. The vibe is very chill also because of the music. The owner, David Drummond stopped by for a lovely chat as well. We also enjoyed meeting the winemaker Sam Bilbro and his cute dog Ruby! Overshine is not to be missed if you’re in the Healdsburg, Dry Creek area. We’ve been to a lot of wineries and this is on the top of our list. It’s an experience not to be missed!

The view from Armida alone makes it worth a visit, and the good wines seal the deal.

While the wines aren't exceptional, they are solidly "good" and a great value for a $20 tasting. The overall tasting experience was very positive, with friendly staff and a stunning view.

There are two areas available for tasting reservations on the website. A number of covered tables are adjacent to the indoor tasting room (parlor). Across a paved driveway, there's a section of lawn with adirondack chairs. Both areas offer great views, though note that the lawn seating is in full sun.

Armida is a beautiful place with a warm family feel and wonderfully flavorful wine. It’s a special place to spend an afternoon. The owners, Bruce and Susan, were so welcoming and made it a special day for us. The deck area has recently undergone major renovations to take advantage of one of the best views in Sonoma. It was an impressive place and I’ll be back. It’s also nice and close to town but feels like it is way out in the mountains. Poizin was my favorite wine-a great Zinfandel.

We came here with family back in February and were excited to see how beautifully the property had been re-landscaped. This is an excellent winery to visit for the views, setting, activities, hospitality and most importantly, truly good wine. They pay attention, and it shows in what they produce. I most enjoy their Pinot Noirs. We’ve been members of their wine club since probably 2009, and while I’ve dropped other wine clubs over the years, this is one we will always continue to enjoy. From their tasting room in Capitola, CA to the winery in Healdsburg, it is a special place and worth a visit.

This is my favorite winery around! Gorgeous property, amaaazing wines and wonderful service. This winery is the best, and we love that it’s dog friendly. Whenever we visit, we bring our pup and a picnic to enjoy on the deck. We typically buy a bottle of Tina’s Block Zinfandel and drink it outside.
The grounds are so beautiful and peaceful. It’s easy to spend hours there just relaxing and enjoying their amazing wine.
