Our experience with Jim and his entire team at Penrose Productions was nothing short of amazing.

I found Jim on Thumbtack 4 days before our event for the kickoff of the Stanford Latino Entrepreneur Leaders Program. He was quick to response, extremely thorough and had great suggestions. He understood our needs even with our lack of experience in the video department, and he was able to deliver on our vision for the type of footage we wanted. He was detailed and open about the process. Our speakers and leaders of the program spoke highly of his professionalism throughout the day.

My introduction to Penrose Productions was what could be considered Internet Rolette. As a publisher for 34 years I know plenty of graphic artists but no video designers. So, I took a morning off, picked a half dozen video marketing firms in the country blind by only looking at their years of experience… I selected Jim Penrose because he has been in business longer than GM Books and I place a lot of value on survival skills first, then what example of their work I saw, second. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I made in 2020. Within a week I saw Jim’s first cut and it was so good I was afraid to make any changes…in the end, I added an image and changed a few words in the dialogue, just to feel that I made a contribution. Jim, did a fantastic job putting together a music video for a Rotary Kick-out function in just a couple of days. We provided him with 4 separate 3 minute video clips of two recording sessions. From this, he was able to create a first class music video at a reasonable cost. His piecing together (editing) of the both the video and audio portions was seamless, truly outstanding. Our band, The Grateful Dads, is looking forward to working with him again.

Jim Penrose took the lead in recruiting, and guiding a group of professional photographers and videographers for the purpose of capturing the beauty of an amazing event called Night to Shine, a prom for young adults with special needs. This event is a world-wide event sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. Jim exceeded my expectation in his attention to detail, his proactive for-thought, his clear, kind communication style, his diligent follow through, and of course the calibre of the photography. It is clear, Jim uses his years of experience for the benefit of his client. And all of this quality work was donated for the welfare of this all volunteer event. Jim is a man of strong character and ability. I would recommend him to any and all who are in need of photographic and video production. His is the best!

They knew exactly what they were doing and directed the recording of A.V. with high efficiency and skill. Plus, the organization paid us very quickly after our services were rendered.
