Glorious place. Truly salt of the earth. You walk in there, and it’s like you’ve been there before. You know where everything is. You know why everything is. Prices are so low I thought it was a front for a human trafficking organization. It’s not, as far as I know.

Seriously awesome place. I spent several thousand dollars there back during the war.
One of the cashiers is super grumpy and mean tho. She scared me. Will never go back but I’ll always cherish my memories from there.

I have been so happy with the paint department! I love the whole store, but the paint staff are great, the colors are true, and I really appreciate that they save the colors in your account, which makes touch ups so easy! Plus I never escape the kitchen section without finding something handy.

It’s one of those places where you feel like you’re interrupting someone’s private party. The service is tolerable but not enough to justify the vibe. The cashiers are busy talking with each other to notice anything, much less if you have a question. I couldn’t wait to leave. I recommend going elsewhere if you can.
Update: This place is getting better. There are two buildings, one with the grumpy folks and one with the "Helpful Hardware Folks". I figured out that the front entrance on Mount Shasta Blvd is the one. So I upped the rating from 1 to 3 stars

I'm here visiting my daughter and I just got to her dbl wide modular home to find that her wood stove needed the cleaning of the build up. She had embers flying out , very scary moment. So I hurriedly went to this hardware store , they were so friendly and helpful. And what a nice store! So thank you mt shasta hardware. I greatly appreciate it . Happy holidays.

I have lived in Mt Shasta for over 10 years and I rarely have a good experience in this store. Today I was speaking to the cashier and she acted like I didn't exist, looked right through me , as if I wasn't there. I don't go in alone anymore because a customer attacked me in there once, a worker stood Infront of me though, so I'll give them that. It should not be a terrifying experience to visit your local hardware store.
